@my4cc0unt All you really have to do is do the rights quests. quests at places that are about 1~2 lvls lower than you. because the opposing faction will have a harder time killing you if they are around your lvl. i never really bothered with the campaign quests exept for the ones i really needed to do.

i was new in wow 3 months ago - progress is too fast so yes its boring coz you get lvl 80 so fast and gear? work for 4 weeks and you are cool enough for every raid - bored after 2 months - playing aion for 7 months :) and its so much fun. wow is for KIDS

This game is very fun 1-25, but then after that, its kind of a grind. You have quests that give you a lot of exp in the abyss but then those are next to enemy fortresses lol. i got ganked hard. I let my subscription run out but over the last days i kinda began to miss it. I know ima get into a grinding game but i say wat the heck, im bored of everything else.
@pertown after 25 you get dungeons...quests with loads of exp and double exp weekends. so what you say isnt true. If you grind its because you want it. I have 8 toon all over 30. I never grinded. From 25 to 40 takes me like 1 week. After that it slows till 50 but can be reached fast. Join groups...enter dungeons and join keep takes.

@pertown NTC daily gets you 1,5 lvls first time. Make sure you have lodas and rested up. Then just do the quests in theobomos and eltnen..3 lvls 1 day easy. next day repeat till 30. Then do ET and FT. Keep using Lodas and Rested. At 35 do FT and Sulfur, and try to get in to low KHQ groups. After 37 you can enter all KHQ groups. After 37 i did KHQ, Sulfur, FT, LC and was alrdy doing all Heiron quests in the down time of not having a group.

Idk if it was just me but i used to play WoW and it took me life a decade to even hit lvl 70, i didnt play all day and night but i played for like a hour a day... it took me forver then it got hella boring so i got a ps3, then i heard about this game like 2 days ago haha and it looks hella sick, WoW isnt that fun, maybe for awhile... but it WILL get boring, hella boring. There is not much to do in this game, gameplay is kind of the same (except for air combat, but it suck so it doesnt rly count), armors look pretty much the same. Heck in wow you even have to move more in pvp and u get to make your own build but in this game you dont get to do shit. :D This game is still raw dissapoingint and boring.

@Qaroc I played world of warcraft since beta, and the game never introduced anything refreshing to the game community. Each expansion was the same crap, introducing a new level cap, forcing everyone to regear again. Pvp was dull, and imbalanced unless you were in the top .5% of players. When they removed world-pvp from the game, and introduced BG's and arenas, the pvp scene went down the drain. I can't wait to start playing AION, as it's wow before wow got dumb'd down for retards to play.

throw shuriken use a stigma slot, better to equip flurry, deadly abandon, shadow walk or if reach lvl 50 abyss stigmas (i love beastly scar chain, skipping agony rune^^)
In most games, crit is useless, which is sad. Unless it locks up or makes an enemy flinch, crit is just something pretty to look at, and you probably sacrifice damage for crit.

For those in question - I played up to a 45 'sin on the American retail, This is not sped up - I frequently amazed fellow friends as they watched me tackle elite monsters solo that they had to two and three man team with a tank and healer.
Its all about crits - if you look in the upper right, he has his crit buff, flurry, and dual +14/16% speed swords - along with the crit range.. lets you pop in some serious crits
Its really easy make scout make him till level9 You will get automatically a quest its called Ascension when you do some steps and you will get into space-like zone go to a mob of the broken bridge then you will fight with 2 waves of monsters dont worry you wont die after a cutscene then NPC will spawn, speak with him and choose assasin

The lack of content. They say crafting is a HUGE part in this game, which may be true considering all my gear since i got crafting has been crafted.
By level 10 wow had its first instance, and by 18 it had 2 more. I loved Shadowfang keep in wow by the way. This game has one world boss by level 20ish. Mainly drops 2 things, and thats it really.
Also too many weapons share the same design. Its like they spent too much time on making the game pretty, instead of enjoyable.

I really only had to grind at about 65 when the cap was 70.... All the rest was easy... and they have plenty of weapon design, go check out an F2P game, then tell me this game lacks wep design. Dont know what youre referring to. When i use to play WoW they had the ranking system of 14 ranks. You had to work for that, more so than anything else, i was rank 11 before BC dropped.
In aion, if you call ganking people and killing bots work for something. Then you must have an amazingly lame life.
Notice you only respond about 'not having to work'. When I also referenced how EASY it was.. You have to work so much more in aion to get good gear, than in WoW... And pretty much everyone who came from WoW, complained about how long it took to level, how hard it was to get gear, how much it sucked compared to WoW...
I dont know about you, but i found it pretty easy to get gear in Aion, & easy to farm Kinah. Only HARD part about leveling in Aion, is the abyss and pretty much anywhere else is a gankfest.
I logged into Aion tonight, sat there for 5minutes, logged out and canceled my sub. Im sick of coming home from work and there not being a rift open. Im not going to run around for a hour looking for someone to gank in the abyss.

DIAF. WoW worked almost the same way. You gather up with friends and farm bgs 24/7 to get rank 14. That's how easy to it was. Yes, it took time, but at no point was it something you had to WORK for.
No, it is not WORK. I spent roughly 3 months grindings bgs a few hours a day while watching TV. It was not hard. It only took long to achieve. There was nothing hard or challenging about it. Just spend lots of time in bgs and you get it eventually.
@DoxSnaiLz Lol, that's why i played final fantasy XI spent hours getting a kick arse team together, another hour or so getting it to the entrance to a portal, and then 10-15minutes making sure everyone knew the battle plan, then 10 minutes getting our 13 man alliance's butt handed back to us, losing tons of exp and nothing to show for it.

Nobo, check the monsters run around, gargoyls flyin normal ,the world effects are speeded normaly... and if thats not enough the knight shes fighting is also at normal speed.

And whit his gear which I know he has a werry good one or he wouldn't be moving like that he would have died. So yes I still asume that elites weren't ment to be soloed but done in parties. And he could still do it better if he used all skilles. P.S. never said the class mechanics were the same.
And regardless of the nerf of course, the sin would have been exceptional and had exceptional gear - I'm just saying that considering the nerf, the class works slightly differently.

@deadVEGAS1993 sorry to disappoint you, but if you took a lot of time getting to lvl 70 to wow (which you can do easily in one month playing 4-5 hours per day), it will take you at least 1 and a half year to get to lvl 50 in aion. the grinding i sooooo long (and boring)

throw shuriken use a stigma slot, better to equip flurry, deadly abandon, shadow walk or if reach lvl 50 abyss stigmas (i love beastly scar chain, skipping agony rune^^)

In most games, crit is useless, which is sad. Unless it locks up or makes an enemy flinch, crit is just something pretty to look at, and you probably sacrifice damage for crit.
Man, mmos have got to change. I agree with poopball3, that all games are boring.

For those in question - I played up to a 45 'sin on the American retail, This is not sped up - I frequently amazed fellow friends as they watched me tackle elite monsters solo that they had to two and three man team with a tank and healer.
Its all about crits - if you look in the upper right, he has his crit buff, flurry, and dual +14/16% speed swords - along with the crit range.. lets you pop in some serious crits

Its really easy make scout make him till level9 You will get automatically a quest its called Ascension when you do some steps and you will get into space-like zone go to a mob of the broken bridge then you will fight with 2 waves of monsters dont worry you wont die after a cutscene then NPC will spawn, speak with him and choose assasin

The lack of content. They say crafting is a HUGE part in this game, which may be true considering all my gear since i got crafting has been crafted.
By level 10 wow had its first instance, and by 18 it had 2 more. I loved Shadowfang keep in wow by the way. This game has one world boss by level 20ish. Mainly drops 2 things, and thats it really.
Also too many weapons share the same design. Its like they spent too much time on making the game pretty, instead of enjoyable.

Dude, most of you WoW fuckers get so caught up in WoW, that you think every other game sucks. I really didn't like WoW.... It took like no work whatsoever... I really only had to grind at about 65 when the cap was 70.... All the rest was easy... and they have plenty of weapon design, go check out an F2P game, then tell me this game lacks wep design. This game hasn't even been out, nearly as long as WoW has, give it time ffs. So what if it mainly drops 2 things, gives you more to work for.

Dont know what youre referring to. When i use to play WoW they had the ranking system of 14 ranks. You had to work for that, more so than anything else, i was rank 11 before BC dropped.
In aion, if you call ganking people and killing bots work for something. Then you must have an amazingly lame life.

Notice you only respond about 'not having to work'. When I also referenced how EASY it was.. You have to work so much more in aion to get good gear, than in WoW... And pretty much everyone who came from WoW, complained about how long it took to level, how hard it was to get gear, how much it sucked compared to WoW...

I dont know about you, but i found it pretty easy to get gear in Aion, & easy to farm Kinah. Only HARD part about leveling in Aion, is the abyss and pretty much anywhere else is a gankfest.
I logged into Aion tonight, sat there for 5minutes, logged out and canceled my sub. Im sick of coming home from work and there not being a rift open. Im not going to run around for a hour looking for someone to gank in the abyss.
The game is a fail, no wonder everyone is quitting. Also no, i dont play WoW.

DIAF. WoW worked almost the same way. You gather up with friends and farm bgs 24/7 to get rank 14. That's how easy to it was. Yes, it took time, but at no point was it something you had to WORK for.

Aion is just a phase. Im nearly over that phase, then i dont know where to go. Over half of my friends have quit already.

No, it is not WORK. I spent roughly 3 months grindings bgs a few hours a day while watching TV. It was not hard. It only took long to achieve. There was nothing hard or challenging about it. Just spend lots of time in bgs and you get it eventually.

@DoxSnaiLz Lol, that's why i played final fantasy XI spent hours getting a kick arse team together, another hour or so getting it to the entrance to a portal, and then 10-15minutes making sure everyone knew the battle plan, then 10 minutes getting our 13 man alliance's butt handed back to us, losing tons of exp and nothing to show for it.

Its only a bit strange if you look at the chat window... i mean sometimes the text pops up very fast..... well idk if its speeded up or not... wether it was speeded up or not. you can see the point out of the video

There are no "crit rate" manastones but there is Physical Crit +(X) which does indeed increase your crit rate. Ffor melee only.)

Overall if he can tank an elit that is the same lvl as he is like that .... well I bow to him because as I am now whit full blue gear I can't never do that. Still he could be more skilefull.

as far as I see it the skilles he uses are the same I have and I don't know what more skilles we have now but I'm sure he had more than only those I saw him using. Don't see the point really why comment it's 1.5. If that is an elite mob it was ment to be killed by a group as it is today whit elits in game.

1.5 nerf wasn't about the skills. It was about damage output. Let's see:
Less damage = longer time to kill mob = easier to die = hence pre1.5 nerf sins were more OP than they are now = easier to solo elites.
Geddit? You seem to assume just because they're the same skills that there was absolutely no change to class mechanics.

And whit his gear which I know he has a werry good one or he wouldn't be moving like that he would have died. So yes I still asume that elites weren't ment to be soloed but done in parties. And he could still do it better if he used all skilles. P.S. never said the class mechanics were the same.

Well About the Elits thing ... I won't comment on it ... but I my self can kill an elite only if they are 10 lvl-s lower than me or a bit more to be on the safe side.
