@Polird Yeah I would have to agree with you. It's not a perfect example. Camera move was too fast and it would have been better if there was something in the foreground to focus on too.
you did that with shaping a lens before the cam ? i did that once like that ; take an icosphere with high quality, make it clear , and then adjust the curvature . . . howdid you do it ?
@christophelienard actually it was done by adjusting the camera zoom function from tight to wide lens effect while moving the camera forward. No object was placed in front of the camera. The control is in the camera options tab with the clipping and other options.

Dolly shot i.e Vertigo shot from the film... Vertigo and famously used in Jaws. Brilliant stuff. +1

This is called a "Dolly Counter Zoom". You're both zooming and dollying the camera.

wow, nice effect but you went a little wide imo :) now try the effect where the camera moves back while it zooms in, pulling the background closer.
