@odrauding2 it aint the same link, in twilight he has no family, in wind waker he does, in ocarina of time he is a hylian kid who was left in kokiri forest by his mother, in skyward sword is a guy over 20 who lives in skyloft.

skyward sword takes place 100 years before ocarina of time, where two timelines where created.

after young link's timeline, twilight princess takes place

and 100 years after old link's timeline wind waker takes place.

you telling me link has lived over 300 years

glad you liked it - there is a tiny bit more of Link in my newer showreels, but i've stopped making anything new with him.

I modelled him purey as a technical exercise, but want to concentrate of my own original designs/characters now so as to avoid Nintendo's wrath :p

Holy, That was Link? Kick ass model. Although I think it'd be better if you made his hat stand out a bit more, just an opinion though. The shield was superb. The lighting and modeling on all the creations were excellent. What program do you use?

what do you mean what's with him? Basically the showreel had a deadline, and the Link project was the last thing I was working on so I hadn't got too far before cutting the showreel, so the animation possibilities were limited. Just built the Master Sword, and will be doing *proper* animation with him soon :D
