The problem is most third party candidates are undiserable. Who would vote for America Frist, Comunist, or Socialist parties. The Green Party is usually corrupt anyway so thereby defeats its own interests. That leaves a couple of viable candidates but how can you trust someone who has had, admitedly unfairly, no debates and little media. Just because someone's an outcast doesen't mean they're trustworthy people. You really think just voting for any random 3rd party will bring a good leader?

Einstein once said, "The definition of insanity is doing something over and over and expecting a different result." That's just wht peple are doin by continuously voting 2 party instead of considering OTHER choices. Even if Nader get as much as 5 or 7% in this election, it probably won't matter in voters' minds. There are a number of reasons why Gore lost (if the election wasn't stolen, which seems unlikely), and none of them include "the Nader effect." I mean, come on. Nader only won about 2% of the vote in 2000. He only got 97,000 votes in Florida, whereas Bush got votes from 250,000 Democrats who defected. Why don't you take that speck out of your eye first (ie hold your own side accountable) before you try to pick the specks out of everyone else's? I'm sick of Democrats scapegoating Nader.
