@JohnAnderssonTV Gustav Vasa being a farmer is a myth. The reason that he wanted to fight the danes in the first place is that his father was executed in the Stockholm Bloodbath by Kristian II. Only priests and nobles were executed that day, and Gustav Vasas father were one of those nobles. Thus, Gustav Vasa was a noble. However he was a noble of low-birth, his family didn't have that much influence. He hated the guts out of the high-nobles.

@joonte1010 I agree that Gustav Vasa was a great king as in he wa able to do many important things which made sweden into the country it is today, but i don't agree he was a great king who's rule was just and good. I really don't think we can call him goodness incarnate, not all supported him as king, and he had methods of dealing with them.
