  • Oh hello! Have you thought about the British Box Breakout (search on google)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate made insane amounts of winning trades.

  • @Simanachue Winning tip: When spamming, try to target your audience more effectively, it will do wonders!

  • When I saw the fretboard diagram at first I was like "that's all wrong" then I flipped it around, haha. Good lesson.

  • @MitchTenderness Thanks!

  • Cool. Never thought of that. Makes perfect sense!

  • Well, unfortunately I missed the class. It should be over right about now. I'm about to slam myself on a door or sth. I came down with the flu and missed the time due to confusion and mucus. :P Hope everything went well and hoping to attend another one. :)

  • my god that sound!

  • This is a very good lesson Dave and it's helpful but it's a little bit confusing :)

  • @TomPandolfino Thank you Tom.

  • You lost me.

  • @Aeoliandorian I'll be happy to explain more if you have specific questions.

  • hi Dave! will there be a remake of this lesson?

  • @euga89 There might be, not sure yet. Will you make it? This one is Saturday..

  • @Wallimann I'm very sorry Dave but this saturday I won't make it...

  • @euga89 Its all good. I probably will redo it. :-)

  • I love that backing track he plays to.

  • @Trilobite8jesus Thanks. :-)

  • awsome, i thought i was the only one who figured this trick out!

  • @warham111 Nice!

  • Hi monsieur Walliman. I'd like to enter the masterclass but I'd like to ask a question. Is a webcam required to participate? Also, on your site it says October 15th, here you mention October 16th. I'm 9 hours ahead but I'm pretty sure Saturday is the 15th. :)

  • @Ypnovatis You are right!

It is Satirday the 15th. :-)

You don't need a webcam, you will be able to ask questions via chat. I hope to see you there!

  • @Wallimann Great, thanks a lot for your immediate answer! I'll try and be there :)

  • Thanks for this lesson !

I'd like to ask You once again if you could make a lesson with tips about soloing over I IV V blues progression. Thaat would be soooooo coool! (I feel so stuck in playing in the same key over blues...) Thanks again !

  • @RightBrainsMusic Maybe I should do a live Masterclass on that topic?

  • @Wallimann If I will be able I will def join :)

  • Never stops amazing me. I have been playing for about 18 years without paying too much attention to the theory. I wish I could have a teacher like you. You are refreshing my playing every day. I cant believe how easy you make it look like.

  • @aledelverne Thanks so much for this comment, it means a lot!

  • @aledelverne it'd have toke me a while discover it by myself too

    thanks as usual

  • Yes, it all makes sense, well after I went through the theory slowly myself. But it makes me wonder how on earth you knew that and ... how does that become really useful. Or is that what the masterclass is for :)

And furthermore are you going to do a re-run of the last masterclass, I missed it :(

  • @Vercingetorix It just adds more tools to you. :-)

I'll explain more in the class though.

    Which Master did you miss?

  • @Wallimann I believe it was the one on modes - "Playing Modal" - I think was the title. I suppose I could just pay you for the class and you could burn the video onto a disk - save you going to all the trouble of doing the lesson again. I was hoping I could make it but it was a bad week for me. Hopefully I'll be able to make it for the next one.

    Cheers,

    V.

  • Great lesson. It's a good thing for people in front of their wall starting to work with intervals, or even just 1-2-3-4-5-6-7

  • Very Very helpful..............waiting for the next lesson....thnks.

  • @Valbuanga Glad it helped!

  • cool lesson Wallimann! :)

  • @1zn0g00d Thank a lot!

  • u r a fantastic teacher >>>

  • @shishir16089 Thank you so much!

  • I have really enjoyed your videos.. You speak my language.. I learned music theory improperly and still haven't flash recall memorized all the notes on the fret board. Its sad I know. But you are a great teacher. Our styles are pretty similar actually, Andy Timmons is my all time favorite guitarist and Guthrie Govan as well. I love the mix of blues, funk, country, classic rock, and metal all at the same time. Keep up the good work you have my support.

  • @chillmetal Thank you very much for that!

  • what do you mean below the triad? i'm a bit confused..

  • @georgemnrs You just add a note below the root of the triad. That note becomes your new root. :-)

  • @Wallimann oh that's what you meant..;p thnx!!

  • 0:30 It's like the heavens just opened with an arpeggio of enlightenment

  • @stoob1969 Haha!

  • I discovered that last shape about a month ago, I really like it.

  • @S4dist1cK It's addicting!

  • I extrapolated this idea out on a seven string and if you keep rotating the root into melodic sequences it forms, (actually almost begs) for the chord progression that forms underneath. Very easy to form etude like structures. The challenge is once you've established a cool sequence to melodically transition out of it. This lesson is a great way for those with good technique to excercise melodicism. Well done.

  • @itowedin Nice! I would love to experiment on a 7 string...

  • You sneaky sneaker, tricking the newbies into playing four-part harmonies by dressing it up as sweeping. Sneaky! :D

  • @jafomatic Hahaha!

  • those caged c shape arps are my fav, use them all the time. shame i suck at the rest of them!

  • love the super mario patch on your new axefx :)

  • @infernalgr Haha!

  • Whats that rack case David? Need to get one for my X II as well. :)

  • @videostar555 It's a Road Runner hard case. Got it at Guitar Center..

  • thanks a lot! great lesson!

  • @skorobagatko Thanks!

  • I absolutely must attend this one! I woke up this morning thinking "hm, i don't play with arpeggios enough".

    Thanks David! :P

  • @Darkaileron Cool! I hope you can make it!

  • Wooooooooooooooooooooow Dude!

  • @oswa0714006 Thanks!

  • Awesome lesson dave! :)

  • @nazari Glad you like it!

  • Well, Walliman, you just thoroughly changed my playing style with this one.

  • @superstriker00 Thanks!

  • Wow, really interesting video Dave! I've definitely not played around with arpeggios enough. I think I'll do that now in fact O,O.

  • @udsahn Thanks Jason, let me know if you have any questions!

  • Mind Blown

  • <3

  • Great video!

You're always so helpful and clear.

Also, I see you haven't sold the Eleven Rack yet, are you keeping it? If so, for what reason?

  • @Poxneo Thanks! I think I might keep it just for convenience. I could use the Axe II as a sound card but I also use it for practice. That way I don't have to unplug it all the time...
