why is this the only indiana jones deleted scenes that we can see? no other deleted scene reel to be found? i hope for the blu-ray whenever it comes out
Great scene - I didn't realise the original footage had survived.
Apparently, the shooting script had a lengthy, minutes-long sword fight. At the time of filming, Harrison Ford had just heard his father had died, and was also suffering from food poisoning on set that day, so after a couple of takes they just decided to go for the gun scene, and get a laugh out of it as well.
