Not many Americans even use T-Mobile. The majority are on Verizon Wireless and AT&T Wireless. Cingular got smart knowing they couldn't compete and merged with AT&T.
Sehr kommisch.
What's funny about this is that they started at the edge of the property and moved when the managers came outside. I remember that day. It was funny, you'd have thought it was Red Dawn.
OMG the black guy is VINCE, I use to work with him at the Chattanooga Call center, talk about playa!!! Since I don't work for T-Mobile I can say he use to screw this one CSR and boy did she feel dumb when it got her nowhere. Now she works retail hahaha. She was pretty hot but man could she turn crazy in a heartbeat.
If all the workers just got togetther and ignored the corporate propaganda and joined the union, life would be so much better. Wokers need to understand that theuy have the power to fight back as a collecetive.
It is so sad that we in America are so SCARED of corporations. Yet we claim to be so "proud" and "strong", yet you act scared of your nerdy bosses.
if I work for Walmart in Miami for example, I can't just walk into another walmart in Phoenix and demand access to their backroom or behind the counter... I would need a special recommendation from responsible parties.
This is funny..but you know what even funnier, I work for T-Mobile USA..please note the USA part, however I don't work in the Bellvue fortress, I mean headquarters, I work for another corporate office (There isn't many so guess!) I was visiting Seattle recently..and decided to stop in for a visit in Bellvue!
I have business cards, employee number, the whole shebang, and they wouldn't even let me in to look around...not even in the museum like hallway with T-Mobile history/photos!
@dangerboy2001 I work for TMO HQ based job but not Bellevue. I tried to visit the Lenexa call center and showed my badge. They wouldnt let me visit my friend who referred me because it was not officially scheduled business.
Good for the CWA and their brothers and sisters from T-Mobile Germany! It's amazing how German law protects workers much more than U.S. law! Amazing and a shame that the U.S. Congress allows corporations like T-Mobile to abuse workers.
Really? Of course you're denied access. It doesn't appear you had an appointment, else you wouldn't have been met at the parking lot. You can't expect to walk into a facility with no prior notification or T-Mobile US consent. You folks are complete kneebiters.
this guy did nothing wrong i would have denied them access too if i did know for fact who they were i would have told them to get to stepping until it was verified with HR i work in nyc and i cant just stroll up in the NJ office with out my elecronic door pass they are issued to the ones who are allowed to be there. hey the secret service better not show up at my house without annoucing who they are in advance or else the get the door treatment talking thru the screen door
unions protect good workers from bad companies and lazy workers from being fired. t mobile usa is a good company we are the smallest carrier stomping with the big dogs.bottom line unhappy customers leads to loss of jobs. STICK TOGETHER !!!!!!! unions divide workers and management dont let the penguins on the north pole tell you that its better on the south pole
Screw the unions as a retired union worker I am against unions they are good in certain ways but they do protect lazy workers until the unions give in where management has the right to fire a lazy workers then i cant ans will not support any union
Americans need to know the low esteem in which our rights of freedom of association are held by employers in the US. Happy International Human Rights Day, now lets make that every day of the Year!
This is shocking--a Supervisory Board member of the parent company is being treated like a criminal--a trespasser. Ridiculous. I hope this gets a lot of news coverage both in Virginia where it happened and in Germany--and that it can prompt some major changes in T-Mobile USA's outrageous behavior.
@lincolnian84 none in germany cares about what happend there it wont be on any news or anything. the whole world knows that the usa is a third world country where workers have no rights; no helth system; where peolple cant visit a doctor or dont recive medical treatment when they dont have the money; ehre parents and in most states even teachers r allowed 2 beat kids; with no colture and 90% fat ugy uneducated stupid idiots.
The man next to the translator is Ado Wilhelm, an employee member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Telekom, T-Mobile USA parent. He is being denied access to the parking lot of T-Mobile USA in Richmond, Virginia. He wanted to distribute a leaflet about why employees might want to organize a union. Trying to exercise American freedoms, he was being treated as a common trespasser! This is the outrageousness of T-Mobile denying workers organizing rights. This happens every day at T-Mobile USA.
@ABC1st2nd3rd superpower. but in many respects the us is a 3rd world country (health care, education, crime, income inequality......

Also, something else funny, What is T-Mobile USA doing telling Deutsche Telekom they can't go in? Don't they know that Deutsche Telekom OWNS THEM!?
That's like me going to my boss and letting him know.."Hey baby cakes, get out of YOUR WHOLLY OWNED SUBSIDIARY..I mean office."
