interests that manufacture the weapons of war. I'm convinced that if Ron Paul did win the primaries, as he should the machine will assassinate him just as both Kennedy's were. The armed revolt of the population is inevitable. We may be smashed at every battle but if we want to restore our republic (not democracy) we will have to pay in blood as did the great men that took there freedom from British tyranny. Peace
Everyone!, when you carve a pumpkin this year for halloween, Carve a Ron Paul Pumpkin! I think this is a creative way to spread the message. This is what I will do and I ask you to please do the same.
Tell everyone you know! He's not getting that much attention so let people know at least that they should check him out. Really...after you hear what he has to say, how can you say no? He believes what I think every American should believe in....the constitution!
The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence will on Friday release selected portions of pre-war intelligence in which the CIA warned the administration of the risk and consequences of a conflict in the Middle East.
Among other things, the 40-page Senate report reveals that two intelligence assessments before the war accurately predicted that toppling Saddam could lead to a dangerous period of internal violence and provide a boost to terrorists. But those warnings were ignored.
The media is constantly ignoring the voice of the people when it comes to Ron Paul. They are in for a rude awakening. Ron Paul is more popular than they think.
If we stuck to the Constitution as written, we would have: no federal meddling in our schools; no Federal Reserve; no U. S. membership in the U.N.; no gun control; and no foreign aid. We would have no welfare for big corporations. "No American troops in 100 foreign countries; no Nafta, GATT, or "fast-track"; no arrogant federal judges usurping states rights; no attacks on private property; and no income tax.
Don't listen to the zionist controlled media anymore. Old media is dead. Welcome to the new media of the common citizens. We will get Ron Paul elected without the help of these old media scumbags if we have to.
Our foreign policy is bankrupting America. Once again America is being lead to believe we spend too little on military defense. America is spending more money than CHINA, RUSSIA, U.K., JAPAN, FRANCE, GERMANY, INDIA, NORTH KOREA, IRAN, and ISRAEL AND CANADA COMBINED!!! Yes, we spend more than all those nations combined. We are spending over $450 billion annually to fight terrorist who have NO ARMY, NO NAVY and NO AIR-FORCE and NO U.S.S.R. Nuke Arsenal. Ron Paul can save lives and money.
This MSNBC poll worked so well because it uses Range Voting! It's essentially a 0-2 point rating (instead of, say, 0-10). The Center for Range Voting touts this method as the best voting method out there - and they're right.
Fantastic...the world's last hope...I'm a Canadian and I'm telling you Americans that the world needs Ron Paul so please get out there and start spreading the word anyway you can because that bastard mainstream, fascist, corporate/warmongering media certainly won't.
Would you stupid conspiracy theorist whackjobs stop posting your crap everywhere? We're talking about how much of a badass Ron Paul is, not about when the saucer is landing to take us back to Beta Centauri.
just because someone states a fact about something REAL going on which involves conspiracy (look at how many people are charged for "conspiracy" in the court of law DAILY) doesn't mean they are nutty alien abduction conspiracy nuts... thats a form of bigotry and has absolutely no basis. Just to set the record straight.
Interesting that Paul's online support is so out of proportion to what his real support likely is. I am a supporter of his, so I hope I'm wrong in my assumptions as to the reasons for such polling results. I really don't want to find out what happens if we bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran, etc...
My guess is that he's not showing up in the offline polls so much because they're only polling registered Republicans with landline phones. Most of Paul's online support seems to be from 18-25 year-olds who are independent, democrat, or unregistered. That crowd is also most likely to have cell phones only, which pollsters are forbidden from calling.
I like like Matthew's cute little laugh there at the end. He must not have ever read the constitution before. The poor soul doesn't even know that his type of ignorance is what's destroying this country.
It was one of those trademark fake laughs — the kind you get from career politicians and car salesmen when what they really want to do is assassinate your character; tell you to jump in the lake; or simply make you disappear.
(They then swiftly move on to the next candidate/customer — preferably, one with the interests/money THEY'RE looking for.)
Even if Fox ran a poll, and Paul was 1st or 2nd, I bet they would give next-to-nada airtime to him and his campaign. Fox's modus operandi runs soooooo counter to Ron Paul's ["traditional conservative"] vision of ethical and constitutional practices in media and politics; they all do, really, but especially the noise channel.
I'd love to see some media ethics reinstilled. Yellow journalism and perpetual fear-mongering based on fallacious "intelligence sources" has to go.
Purposeful omission of facts and context within so-called "panel discussions" must not continue. We need intellectual debate and critical discussion of government undertakings and world events — not all that ideological fluff and partisan ratings games.
Reports and discussions on divisive, ground-shaking contengencies must be backed up with verifiable facts and sources.
If Glenn Beck says, "Ahmadinejad is building a bomb, and is planning to use it on Israel and the U.S.," but then never, ever backs it up with verifiable sources, then he's being a WAR PROPAGANDIST, like his sadistic, puppet-master luminary, Binyamin Netanyahu.
The corporate/political/ideological stranglehold on media is bass-ackwards; if anything, media should have politicians and corporations held firmly accountable.
After elected, I hope that President Paul will put the ethical fire under media, the felonious "watchdog groups," and Congress, making sure that "News" Channels and bureaus deliver, with integrity and accuracy, what their mission statements declare, or else be fined by the FCC.
I believe that the only man who would be anywhere near willing to use Executive power to its full constitutional and statutory limit in such a noble, brave and responsible way is Dr. Ron Paul.
Amazing how they waited til the last minute to mention Paul was way ahead... no time to comment. And notice the nervous laughing in the background. Hmmmm
I didn't understand the context of the "who's in the lead" comment at first, but then I realized that it was Keith Olbermann reacting in complete shock to the fact that Ron Paul destroyed all the other front-runners in the polls by a long shot. Awesome!

Ron Paul won the polls as only 4 million Americans watched the debate and the telephone polls were a selected area that did not watch the debates.
dude58677 4 years ago
That's quite an interesting theory, especially when considered it was an internet poll :-P Do they restrict the internet too now???
jpm17 4 years ago
The people that watched the debates then went to the internet and said that he won. He had only NINE PERCENT before the polls.

Ron Paul was the only one that explain (not detail b/c the time limit) HOW he would accomplish his goals.
And his goals are what this country was founded on...
1)Less Government...MUCH less government
2)Sound Money (FUCK YOU FEDERAL RESERVE AND IRS)
I believe in this man because he has principles
