Appreciate the responses...this was just a test video, not meant for students at all, but only as a concept video. The student in question was a low timer so really, nothing unexpected here, and not well represented corrections. Now that I realize the video is still up here, I'll correct the description. Bob Miller you suck as an pilot/instructor. Go take some gliding lessons and learn how to side slip properly. You'll have the advantage of not having to dabble with the throttle, as you don't seem to be able to use it properly.
Power stays on even during round off, flare and landing. Must have been a full flapper, otherwise the good old C172 would have hapily floated and ballooned all the way down to the end of the runway, refusing to "sit".
Using brakes while still having power on? Come on!!!
I always thought it was a party whistle for a well executed landing...

If too high, reduce power first, then, slip if needed.
