When I was a kid in the late 50s, they used to play this recording on Captain Kangaroo, under the most bizarre animation (some kind of shadow-box skeleton characters). I truly believe it was intended to give nightmares to all the little buggers.

I was born in 1946 and remember my family had this on 45 R. P. M. PHONOGRAPH RECORD that was made in 1952. BOY! it's been a long time since i last heard it! GREAT POSTING!!
