The only people who like these bikes are those who have never rode one. They will snap your spine. They can't climb a hill. It can only haul one hind quarter at best but by the time you got the whole elk out you'd be crippled. They can't handle rough terrain like is implied. Try to find a video of a Rokon actually accomplishing somthing other than climbing a dig house.

Why do people disrespect this bike? Trail riding isn't about the speed you get when you can only go so far. As a hunter I wouldn't trust anything other then a trailrider that takes me hundreds of miles into the woods through things that no other motorcycle nor horse would dare to even try.

I have a 1972 Rokon. They put the forest service approved spark arrester muffler under the back fender on that one. Still have it parked in the garage. Still use it. I studded the tires for towing ice fishing houses on the ice and to keep from dumping on icy trails. Even dragged a half moose at a time out of the swamp and woods to the 4x4 trail where the truck was. I'll never give mine up even though I have a Polaris 6x6 Sportsman too. I haul the Rokon on the back of it for when it gets TOUGH!

I still have one of these things , you can get them stuck, they pull hard but if the clutch gets to wet your stuffed the wheels are spare gas tanks too, I was also impressed to see the riders excellent riding gear...............:))

@Mafiamanjjc, I ride dirt bikes, they are more of a recreational toy, they go fast off road. This can be fu off road, but you can also strap your campsite on the back seat and ride a new trail that nothing else can make it through. It just goes so many more places.
