Yes, Soul Blazer and Terranigma are actually considered to be in the same series as Illusion of Gaia. I recently downloaded Terranigma, and I must say... WOW. It's a lot harder than IoG. XD

Man, now that I look back on this game. This game was on some trippy astrology philosopher type shit. It's amazing how now I study astrology. I mean, you are literally all the lives that you knew. This is actually a deep game. Which is why I still go back playing it. I mean, damn!!! Why don't they make more games like this?? It seems nowadays they rather focus on how realistic breasts are than fun factor.

Shadow can shield himself from the beams that Dark Gaia's second form fires at him. Not the beam from the head, but the energy balls she fires from her tentacles. You don't even need to use the Aquatic form; just L or R.
a solution if you can translate this which follow in english: mettre le personnage juste en dessous de la tête du boss et toujours taper sur le bouton de frappe (pour le coup du phoenix), les boules bleus ne pourront pas te toucher car justement le tir du phoenix les détruira lorsqu'elles s'approcheront de toi,
pour les boules de couleurs blanc/jaune utilise le bouclier de liquefia touche R ou L, ça va t'en protéger(courir ne sert à rien).
Translation:Stand in the middle of the screen, just below the ennemy's face and always pressing the action button. This way, waterballs cannot touch you cause your sword will destroy all of them. For electric balls, use your shield by pressing "R" or "L"... Merci pour l'astuce Fabounet ;-)

hey my brother told me that when you are fighting the final form that if you stand like slightly to one side that you can't get hit by any of it's attacks! Try it sometime see if it's true! i love this game!!
The second phase of this boss reminds me alot of the second phase of Lavos from Chrono Trigger.

I was disappointed with how easy the final boss was. For me, Stone Arm was the most difficult boss to beat. I actually had to heal against him.
