i'm looking for a slydini move that he used on the cavett. AS I RECALL,,,
the camera was VERY close. closer than any video here. so close all you saw were his hands. he has a coin on the table. he slowly moves a hand to cover the coin and then he slowly draws the hand towards himself. as he does so he then slowly turns his hand over to reveal,,,,,NOTHING. the coin is gone. it was a very simple illusion with no fancy hand movement. it was as simple as i have described. do you have that video?
I wish you would show the rest of the coin tricks. This routine went into his famous one coin routine. Do you have that part of the video to post? I'd love to see it. Nobody does it better than Slydini!
today is my first day seeing this guy, ive heard of him before but wow...im in awe, i can usually follow people but i cant with this guy, and i kinda dont wanna cause its just so elegant and wow i wanna meet him, ufortunatly i cant :(
@dvlkcc I don't know... to me, it's obvious, and should be obvious that he's getting the cigarettes from under the table... He knows that the audience knows that. After all, it's not real magic nor is it intended to be... only an illusion. The question is how he does it... Because there are times that he shows all sides of his hands after he brings them up from the table and right before he reveals the cigarette.
I love YouTube! I'm getting to see all my heroes... in magic, in music, everything! I bought Slydini's book back around 1965. I used to save up and buy a lot of books back when I was a kid. And to see these guys come back to us on YouTube is remarkable. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Wow! Slydini magic can just be performed by Slydini, I cannot think of any other performer who can do the same things he does with his own naturality. You nkow what I mean...

Yeah. That body lang. belongs to him and only him. There is no use in duplicating him or any other magician.
