I have one.. people think its a brand new BB. It looks really good.. the BEST BB ever. Nice size screen and good size keypad and it fits well in your hands. Give one a look... leather back too. :) Mine is white. I wouldn't trade it for any other BB.

@hodgkins92 the greenish light only blinks when you have like 1 bar of battery life left.....also you can go to to options or settings and look for something that says coverage indicator. so it can blink green when you are in coevrage area

I love this phone very much! I would roll eyes when i see people using blackberry but this bold is really everything i need! I don't use my macbook as much after investing most of my time with my blackberry bold!

The video resolution and the sound quality is a blast! It's like a portable computer + music player

HATE:

Honestly, i love the phone but wat i find annoying is:

1. The camera - At 2 mega pixels, it's decent but definitely room for improvement here

2. Fingerprints - Cud be unsightly at times when u wanna show ur fone off to ur mates, but a few rubs on ur shirt will help remove those smudges off

3. Batteries - Better than most smartphones comparatively, but i really hope to see some improvement in the newer Bold.

4. Apps - Not close to the iPhone Apps as yet but clear improvements noted

1. The display...the colours are so amazing + size is about right

2. The leather back & case - Oozes class

3. Speakers - Beats all other devices hands down here me thinks... Cos of the left & right surround sound speakers

4. Pushmail - Why anyone wud ever need a blackberry in the first place

5. QWERTY keyboards - For those who hate touch screens, these keys have a good spread & feel

6. Headphone jack - Unselfish piece there

You can set it to what u want, you can tell it to flash either when u have a new text, or missed call, or anything u want such as low battery

the chrome frame is actually plastic and the screen is also plastic, both happen to scratch very, very, very easily. battery life sucks after just a month of usage. making or receiving calls becomes at times impossible, those are phone, not network related issues, many calls are dropped, even that the connection is at 100%. it crashes regularly for no reason and starts only up again when the battery is taken out. had 4 replacements, all plagued with the same problems. Nokia E72 here I come!

Got this phone 4 days ago, and still don't know if its any good or not. VODAFONE help people can't activate it. Being a business man its a bit of a pane since i've lost a full days work and probably the same tomorrow.

If you get a message saying 'SIM card not provisioned:2' don't waste your time calling VODAFONE, just go straight to a lawyer and declaire yourself bankrupt because you will loss all your clients in 1 foul swoop.

The blinking light shows there's an unread message, it's not the battery indicator. Blackberry's are known for having good battery life.

You're joking right? I've gone through several phones in the passed few years and getting a smart phone that even lasts a full DAY is surprising. Maybe you're used to non-smart phones or something, but smart phones eat batteries, and you would be hard pressed to find a smart phone with a better battery life than any Blackberry...RIM actually delayed the release of their first Bold for several months in order to ensure the battery would last as long as possible.

because they don't expect you to actually use the 3.5mm jack! Any phone w/built in Blue Tooth Stereo thinks you will pick up a wireless stereo headset. I've been using one for years, and strongly recommend getting one!

Depends. Bold is great for email and typing. iphone has a good/better browser but the touch screen typing feature is a bit of a headache compared to an actual keyboard. I've got a Bold and an ipod touch. I'm more drawn to the Bold.

Verizon has the Blackberry Tour which is similar to the Bold. It has a higher rez screen but it lacks Wifi. The Tour is, I believe, less than a month old.
