I can't stop crying every time I hear this song. God has put sooo much into my life and everything seems to be crashing down around me and I feel myself slipping everyday again and again and again. And everyday God is right there with me, carrying me, leaving one set of footprints in the sand despite what I have done. I cannot fathom why He loves me so much but I am glad He does and doesn't ever give up on me. I want to be consumed!

I'm not a Christian; in fact, I'm the exact opposite. I'm an atheist. I go to church since my parents are aiming to be Christians. And even though I despise everything about church (no offense), I find that the songs the church plays are so sweet. Not sweet as in lovey dovey cute, or sweet as in candy sweet, but sweet as in bittersweet. The tune is so lovely.....

I haven't been to church in a while.. But when I went last Sunday.. It isn't the church I remembered.. The youth was completely disrespectful and the adults didn't do a thing about it. I know I might only be 14 but I know where I stand and I pray that God fills that church and shows them the real meaning to going to church. Not just meeting up with your friends.

@MrKingchuch Agreed, many Christians do. But we are not called to. Proverbs 8 personifies wisdom and the preceding chapters explain on how we should seek it more than treasure. My friend's favorite quote (also from the bible), "My people perish for lack of wisdom" and I feel that it is true today and it's quite sad.

@signman313 I had the samething in my head just a month or so ago. What I did is just listen to the words and figureout what they mean. Then I tried to just focus on God and worship. Its hard to keep that thought of what people will think out of my head though, but it usualy dont bother me no more, Hope this helps :/

@jamieShay13 I'm only a kid, too. I'm 15. My youth leader said that people always make excuses like "I'm too young, I'm too poor, I don't have anything to offer.." stuff like that. I'm guilty of using those excuses too. But reaching out to someone could be as simple as sitting next to that kid who doesn't have any friends at lunch. Helping someone pick up their dropped books.

@MrKingchuch Agreed, many Christians do. But we are not called to. Proverbs 8 personifies wisdom and the preceding chapters explain on how we should seek it more than treasure. My friend's favorite quote (also from the bible), "My people perish for lack of wisdom" and I feel that it is true today and it's quite sad.

@signman313 I had the samething in my head just a month or so ago. What I did is just listen to the words and figureout what they mean. Then I tried to just focus on God and worship. Its hard to keep that thought of what people will think out of my head though, but it usualy dont bother me no more, Hope this helps :/

@jamieShay13 I'm only a kid, too. I'm 15. My youth leader said that people always make excuses like "I'm too young, I'm too poor, I don't have anything to offer.." stuff like that. I'm guilty of using those excuses too. But reaching out to someone could be as simple as sitting next to that kid who doesn't have any friends at lunch. Helping someone pick up their dropped books.

I'm not christian, I probably wont be either. But I love being among other christians. They're always happy, they share good memories, and songs like this, I nearly cry by listening to it. It started with me joining "confession", a musical group in order to prepare for confirmation. I wanted to play in a band, but ended up in singing. At first I didn't like it, but then I realized it was wonderfull. Christian people are always so nice, I love them all

@DafieYo It's just that I don't believe in God. I've never really "felt" his presense. No wonders or miracles have happened in my life, and I'm more scientific. I believe in numbers and facts, and that our universe appeared in one instant out of nothing, not that a God did it. But it's a wonderfull story afterall, it's really interesting. So, don't stop in believeing in him, I really love you people.

Some energy leads to another energy and work is done. @Tijanbeast1 Depends on what one believe. Many believe in the same, like you, and I do not. However, I do believe in reincarnation, but I don't believe in anything spiritual. I believe that the universe was smaller than a dot, and it exploded into today by an unknown reason. I wont say against you that there is a God, but I can neither proove that there are one.
So, I believe the universe was made in an instant by "accident", not a God made it. But there's no way I can proove it. Its believing

To learn God's Word: Pray to God to let him know you want to learn what His letter says. He is your Father so talk to Him just this way, and no matter how little the feeling is, it is enough, and just keep praying for Him to give you more love for Him. I insist you use a 1611 King James Version Bible and a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, because reading really doesn't do it... One must study to show themself approved. Sweet to learn/bitter to teach.
