  • omfg...nothing like that here in america.

  • I went to japan for 5 and a half weeks but didn't see this arcade!!! I managed to go to club sega which blew my mind! :D Where was this arcade?

  • @Wakizashiuk Hey, thanks for watchin, I hope you enjoyed your time in Japan to the fullest. :)

This arcade is in Kawagoe, which is technically in Saitama, just outside of west Tokyo.

  • @KidShoryuken I had the best time of my life. I have a video diary of my time on my profile if you get bored and want to watch it :P. Oh nice, if i ever get the chance to go again i'll be sure to check it :P

  • I maintain a global arcade database, and would love to add these arcades to it, but I need more specific addresses (in Engrish!) and of course to know what all games they have there. Looks like you did a pretty good job of filming the games as is. Any others they had that you forgot to film? I'm having trouble locating these places on googlemaps.

  • Whoa, awesome. I didn't expect it to be so wide open. Looks pricey. :)

  • this has got to be the best arcade you have visited yet. i am a huge capcom fan! wish i was there with you :S

  • @NathanFaux Thank you so much for the kind words. :) This arcade definitely holds a special place in my heart. I'm hoping to do another tour real soon, this time the BIG arcades in Akihabara, "Club Sega" and "Taito Game Station".

Save up a bit of cash, buy a plane ticket, and come on over.

  • there needs to be a TMNT pizzeria/arcade, complete with all the TMNT games in it, both arcade and home versions...and of course, all those fabulous variations of pizza that are green heroes like to eat.

  • @mireaux7 Sounds like you've got a real vision there. I say run with it. I look forward to hearing about your awesome TMNT arcade/pizzaria. :)

  • Kind of makes me wish that arcades weren't dead in North America

  • This music sounds like Street Fighter was a sit-com on NBC or something. Hadoken!!! Well be right back after these messages!

  • @jayham28 Hell, I always thought it would make a good sit-com. Ryu would share an apartment with Chun-Li and Cammy, Bison is the landlord who doesn't like them, and Ken is the whacky friend always getting Ryu into trouble. I'm drafting a script right now.

  • 00:50 was trying my best to look up Chun Li's skirt. lol

  • @mireaux7 You are not alone. :)

  • you might as well just call it the street fighter plaza, theres nothing else there. ooo wait a minute, thats all they release anyway and abandon everything else...i forgot -_-

  • @1xCloudStrifex1 Actually, they had quite a lot else there. They had the majority of the "Vs" games, most of the KoF games, Tekken and Virtua fighter, Gundam Pods, lots of shooters, even the Rockman arcade fighter, but you're right that the theme is basicly all Street Fighter.

  • :O so sick,, i wanna go

    nice song choice btw

  • @DeathMetalRegulator Thanks man. This definitely a favorite arcade of mine. Now that I've heard about CapBar, I must go there as well.

  • <3<3<3The posters on 5:19

  • That looks awesome! Love the SFII remix music too.

  • @Gamester81Arcade Thanks much, Mr. Gamester.

  • Oh my god! That's the best arcade I have ever seen man

  • @Tonyippee Oh yeah, it's definitely at the top of my list as well, I had a blast there.

  • my fav arcade cab at 3:05 : )

  • @iTzSEGA I suppose I should have guessed that one, haha.

  • Awesome + subbed ^_^

  • @RetroRepair Thank you + you're pretty damn awesome too. :D

  • mmmmmmmmmmmm so much Street Fighter - only in Japan! that place is totally awesome! yet onother destination i have to go to when i finally make it out to the far east ; P

  • @ukretrogameaddict It's definitely worth a trip, I could live in this place, being the SF nut that I am. :)

  • Were there any Darkstalkers games?

  • @ChugokuAru Oddly enough, I didn't see any. In fact, it's quite rare that I come across a Darkstalkers cab... ever. I think in my time in the arcades here, I've seen Vampire Savior once.

  • Wow amazing amount of space for a Japanese arcade, usually much more space challenged than that.

    Some really cool titles too.

Ah man you make me really want to figure out a way to get another trip to Japan!

So many redemption machines, oh well at least they had interesting stuff in them.

  • @electricadventures Oh yeah, I love this place, I'm a huge fan of capcom and snk fighters, so this place really has all I need.

Yes, a ton of UFO catchers, and I can't a damn thing out of them, haha.

Hell man, just hang on to a little cash and come on over.

  • @KidShoryuken Well won't be able to do that if I keep on buying systems! First Japanese console will be arriving in a few days. Looking forward to being able to buy some titles direct from Japan for it.

  • That place looks amazing. Wish we had places like that back in the states or at least something similar around where I live. We only have one arcade around here and it's pretty crappy. Great video though!

  • @gamehuntersquest I can remember having nothing even resembling an arcade in my town, thems were sucky times. Now, damn near every town I visit has an awesome arcade. It's night and day, man.

  • that music sounds vaguely familiar but I can't place it. Great video dude, that place looks awesome

  • @Captain8Bit I think I heard it in a movie once, didn't they make a movie out of this stuff? :)

    Thanks Billy.

  • @KidShoryuken possibly ;)

  • HOLY CRAP! That place is AH-mazing!!! Love to check that place out in person!!!

  • @HashiriyaZ Indeed it is, perhaps my favorite arcade I've ever been to.

  • 4:50 was so funny and the ending too, but that place looks amazing and the Street Fighter displays look great

    -Dr.Sanders

  • @SlimeTeeVee Thanks, I did that whole crapping in the Gundam thing kind of on the fly, but I'm pleased with it.

This is probably my favorite arcade thus far, I'm a real nut about capcom and snk fighters, and this was actually my first time playing "Tatsunoko vs Capcom", I loved it.

  • Aw no Border Break :((( but gotta love street fighter and gundam :) great vid

  • @leomc11 Yep, and don't think I wasn't looking. Maybe I'll find one eventually, maybe at a bigger arcade.

  • @KidShoryuken jus realized that border break is sega so thats probly why it wasnt there

  • @leomc11 Well, I'll eventually try filming at the Club Sega in Akihabara, I'm sure to find one there.

  • That is awesome! The recreations of the SFII stages are great.

  • @xcornmuffinx Yes indeed, perhaps my favorite arcade in Japan, even topping the ones in Akiba. It has everything I want, and nothing I don't.
