Greg's Alexander 103 is in F when the thumb valve is pressed down and "stands" in Bflat when not. Many horn players don't play on the F-side of the instrument except from low G and F# and the low C downwards. Thus no thumb movement except for the first Bflat. Hope that was clear :-)
