There was an article in USA Today and basically it said that iMovie '08 is horrible. It is over simplified and just not worth buying, seasoned users are saying go back to the older iMovie. I love the old version.

iMovie 08 is crappy. They removed many functions, but gave us a more beautiful GUI. I suppose they are trying to "force" more users over to Final Cut. Money, money, money. The new app is just.. useless. It's almost as it is made for vloggers.

I don't care one way or the other on the thumbs thing but when you hit ALL COMMENTS you should get ALL COMMENTS and in order from oldest to newest so the 'replies' are under the comments they are replying to.

I thought that when you install iLife '08 it lets you keep your old iMovie intact...  At least that's what I heard. I personally don't like the new iMovie either. If I get the new version of iLife I would still want to continue using the old iMovie.

Kevin, EVERYONE is complaining about the new iMovie. To the point that Apple has actually put the previous version of iMovie up on their site for free download to people who've upgraded to iLife '08. I'll send the link to your e-mail since I can't post it here. Blunty3000 did a video about it too and has the link in the video.

Reinstalling the old version of iMovie would be my next move. As another Taurus, I firmly believe in the saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." And that applies to software.

General concensus of everyone I know is that the new comment system TOTALLY BLOWS. I haven't found anyone who DOES like it.

As to the comment limit graphics, it always takes me no less than 2 tries, even when I KNOW the first one is right. Annoying...
