Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog Teaser

I had never heard of Dr. Steel until these "enthusiastic" fans posted here shouting cries of foul play. I decided to check it out and decide for myself. While there are similarities, they are only superficial. Musically and story-wise, they are quite different. I enjoyed Dr. Horrible. Dr. Steel could have been interesting, but sadly, any chance of my actually liking him was dashed by the utter rudness of his fans. Guys, what you're doing isn't cool. It just makes you look bad.

I thought Horrible was ok. I guess you got attacked by some of the more Emotional fans. When I had commented in a forum about act 2, I was contacted by a "Toy Soldier". She didn't bash me for what I had said, she just said if I liked Horrible, then I should Try Dr. Steel. I went to the link she gave me, And I really liked it.

It sucks that some of the "soldiers" are being nasty about it. But the ones I came into contact with were very positive about Dr. Horrible. They need to all team up!

Agreed on all counts! I love Dr. Horrible, and when it first came out, I was directed to Dr. Steel by another fan. They're both wonderful, and, honestly, while I see the similarities, I think that the parallels are only superficial. Similar name, similar (standard mad scientist issue)coat. Totally different story and goals.

Oh Joss, you've done it again! This is so awesomely funny, it's a shame it's not a full on movie. Now that the Joss flag has been waved, I must say something about the "Toy Soldiers" who have posted. FOR SHAME! The sad thing I was hoping this was just a few people, but the fact it's a mission? Awful and in poor taste. It's a sad day to be a Toy Soldier when it's now a mission to spam and troll a great and funny clip. Dr. Steel, I thought better of you.

The difference is that Dr Steel didn't call himself Pinky and Dr Brain. And all you have to do is look at the title of Dr Horrible's Sing-along and compare it to Dr Steel's Read-along. Hmm bit of a conincidence don't you think
