Because the only problems are port forwarding, which everyone should know how to do.

I don't even know what this client side character storage problem is.

Honestly man, when was the last time that ANYONE has had to port forward a game in the last 5 years? Games that include good UPnP don't require port forwarding.

As for client side character storage - all your characters are stored on your computer, and with editor programs, it makes this game as hackable as Diablo 1/D2 (On Open Battlenet).

The only other issue I really have is the game feels like focused only on the console version, and the port feels rushed.

It doesn't matter if games do it or not, everyone should know how to port forward, and it honestly takes <5 minutes. It's not that big of a deal.

How is that a problem with the game? If people want to hack there characters, let them. It's their $50.

Try hitting a game online. Half the people do not have their ports forwarded to play online. Its just retarded that they don't include good UPnP.

And some people just like playing legit games, and there is no way to tell if its legit. Hacking in games for single player is cool, I just think its retarded on multiplayer.

I don't play with pubbers so this doesn't affect me. And again, that's not the game's fault that people don't know how to port forward. PF'ing isn't required, and many games may not do it today, but some routers don't do it automatically, so it's still YOUR issue as a consumer. People should learn a little and fix it, because bitching on the internet takes longer than opening ports.

The simple: if you like legit games, leave. People will always hack, it's not the game's fault.

Well, the bane of being a PC gamer is that all my friends moved onto consoles, so I'd like to play pub games to meet new people. I know how to port forward games, so its not really an issue on my side.

And Diablo 2 had it right: Closed, server side character storage for legit games and open, client side character storage for whatever you wanted to do. And the service was offered free years ago when server hosting cost way more than it does now.

How much RAM do you have and what's your processing speed? You're ok on the video card front, although I wouldn't expect it to run well maxed out.

And you don't have a DX11 card, so that's not relevant.

the PC version is horrendous the controls are horrible you can't even hot key the voip controls.

you cannot free-look when driving

the quests get totally screwed up and you can lose your character's items when you join an online game .

that's just to name a few ,
