BC RICH Classic BICH is my all time favorite Guitar... best value for the dollar.. I paid around $600 for a used one... Ebony fingerBoard... Fat Frets.. Bindings.. Pearl inlays... Super low action... Seymor Duncans... Great sound... If only it had a Whammy Bar... oh yeh..

Hey man I'm considering getting one of these bad larys, I have 2 main styles, heavy metal, and jazz. I can tell that the bich can handle the metal, but how do you think it would handle a bassy jazz tone? And I'm playing in a band now ( megadeth , slayer, metalica ect influenced) anything else i should know for that?

How does it work when you buy string? is it just string for a 12 strings and just skip the A and low E strings?

E and A are tuned normally, and the other 4 are tuned like a 12 string as in octaves, so its D and an octave higher D, G and a higher octave G etc etc

To be honest, my second guitar was a BC Rich Warlock, I have had that guitar for about 7 years, and I never had a pickup problem or a tuning problem.. I have all stock equipment on there (by choice) and it still sounds amazing. Your guitar will maintain itself if you take care of it.

E standard is probably my second favorite tuning, but my first is Dropped B lol. (big change eh?)

D standard is in third place after Drop B. Standard tunings are SOOO much more fun to play in than dropped.. Children of Bodom got me hooked on D standard.. especially on the album Hate Crew Deathroll

Rockerdude, you are an idiot sir. What the hell does the shape have to do with a guitar being "good" or not? It's the build quality and what series it is, a Bronze series Mockingbird will suck ,while a USA handmade or a Neck Through NJ series will kick major ass. If you have only played cheap ass Bronze or Platinum series then U may think they all suck......but that would be a mistake.

The last few years the NT imports have been VERY nice indeed.

the razorback explosion,its basically inpossible to play sitting down without severe rip and lep injuries lol.if you want a true bad ass metal guitar,look into the dean explorers or better yet a bc rich mockingbird ST or even a ibanez RG.oh and ESP LTDs are pretty nice too.but my fav out of the bunch is the Mockingbird ST.

You'd need to get the coil-tappable EMGs. They cost a little more... an 81TW, and an 89 (basically an 85 that you can coil-tap). Regular EMGs won't coil-tap.

Hey, my good friend SS :-) ... How the hell r ya? Thanks for the comment. THAT is something I didn't think of, and you're right, I'm sure there's lots of things you can do w/ the tunings. That's funny ... a few noted on the tuning. I must be tone deaf :-) ... either that, or my Sabine must be tone deaf also ... um, or maybe that's why they stopped producing rack tuners :-).
