It's illegal to kill a rattlesnake in Colorado. He was cold and trying to warm himself, but unfortunately it was on a busy trail. Without a predator like this the rabbits and mice would overrun the area.

As far as the reversal, I had my Gopro in uppside down mode when I filmed and when I vertical flipped it in Premiere Pro I forgot to horizontal flip it as well, so I ended up with a mirror image.
@coloradomtber The snake was in the middle of the trail where it could bite the next MTBer and/or be run over and killed. Getting it off the trail without hurting it is very cool, IMO.
Wishing someone would get bit by a rattlesnake, however, is not very cool.
@MangoLlama Yeah, but next time, try to leave this sort of things to the experts. BTW, does anyone know exactly what species of rattlesnake that was? It looked to me like a Mojave rattler.
