No, all of his power was drained from him. Naaru don't die, they just become darkened until they can fill their void with light again. He's not necessarily "evil", but he does require souls to lighten him again
@pokeglitchihasbackup he was moved into sunwell as a boss after patch 2.4 but I do not know if you can still hear his song and even then it might be hard to focus on the sounds when he's trying to kill you

I kinda imagine the Naaru to be what the human heart looks like, and corrupted M'uru happens when the heart suffers from sadness or grief :(
