Now don't get me wrong I've gotten great deals with products that work great for a long time, but they are well known high end name brand stuff. I would never recommend Pyle, Pyramid, Lanzar, Tview, Eonon, Xtrons, oh man there is just so much garbage out there... Unfortunately for something GOOD you gotta pay. :( I know it sucks right?

for CrazyKidSmoker one of your speakers is hooked up backwards. take one speaker and hook it up right (positive to positive and negative to negative) but when u go to plug the second one in reverse the positive and negative like (positive wire to negative of speaker and negative wire to psitive of speaker

@CrazyKidSmoker First of all audiobahn sucks no offense. And if you have a camaro you can afford some memphis or a upgrade for audiobahn, but i had the same problem. You need a better amp with more rms, so either wire the subs into a lower ohm and bridge it or put it in one channel, or buy a bigger amp that put out more at 4 ohm which the audiobahn is. And remember your amp will push hard when you bring the ohm lower.

Ported box is louder. But you gotta get the port frequency right. 32hz to 40 hz is usually the best for daily listening. I've seen spl ports up to 80 hz. Last car show I was at. two DD 8 inch subs in a 85 hz port box doing 145 or 146 decibals.

just to let you know for a ported enclosure you usually need more air space for the sub than for a sealed enclosure, and you are going to have to tune it to the correct hertz range so it sounds nice. just trying to inform you and help you out man, later.

Depends on the impedance of your sub.

An AudioQue 1200d is rated for 120o watts at 1 ohm / 870wrms at 2 ohms - Alpine's MRP-m1000 is not 1 ohm stable but pushes 1000wrms at 2 ohms - Which would sound better quality
