@austincbacon Nope Canada, I just recharged the lasers battery and powered it on and even without the lens on with just the diode it is giving off a weird E shape, Don't let thing change your decision on buying this, The E shape thing is a one and a million and has never before happened, That laser is great and I recommend you get it while it's in stock. Also buy some survival laser goggles that work for 405nm, They are awesome! Also do you know how to fix the E shape?

@RetroCopS You can try cleaning the lens (not the focus lens) but taht may damage the laser even more. I don't thinks there's any other way to fix that E shape

@JMJam59 Well, I know how fragile a laser diode's glass lens is so I won't touch it unless they let me keep the replacement if they replace it. How do I explain to them what is happening without them figuring out I'm 13 & I don't wanna go through the trouble of sending it back... What do you think I should say?

@austincbacon It's not really the lens, It's the whole diode, You know that tiny thing that produces the light? The diode is smaller than a quarter of a penny with a glass lens attached, It is NOT the big physical lens on the aperture of the laser. So I would have to replace the laser diode which is the most expensive part of this laser.

All "powerlasers" of DX are now available from their "daughtersite". It's all due to regulations from PayPal; PP won't allow you to buy higher class lasers via PP.

Since DX only accepts PP, they can not sell powerlasers anymore. If you want to buy a powerlaser, go to DX's daughtersite, just be prepaired to pay by creditcard.

@hk47861 according to wikipedia, no. Only 1mW laser are allowed. I (and wikipedia) could be wrong though. You must search more on that topic.
