What are you talking about? Japanese cars are THE BEST in the world in their quality- look to the raports: finnish and especially german like TUV, ADAC etc- japanese cars are nr 1, and also quality is their the strongest site.

Volvo got the highest safety allmost all volvo cars got 4-5 stars rating. Most of the volvo got 5 stars. You can't compare volvo to nissan. Volvo is Safer,quality,family,winter,off road,comfort, driving.

Renault bought Nissan in 2000.
Sure the Renault VelSatis and Laguna had the same 3.5L V6 engine from the Nissan 350Z in them.
