  • A parade that has local, provincial, national, international flavour along with our guys and gals in blue, red, tartan, dress and fatigues, cultural and native dress. A glorious mix! Ya Hoo!!

  • the best is the tank

  • I love how it spun around! So close to people!!!

  • I was there! It was awesome! I liked how the army tank went through and looked like it was gunna shoot people haha

  • It was right there in front of my face. My boyfriend was yelling "look at the tank, look at the tank". I thought he was being special, cause I was staring straight at it. I was looking at the one just ahead of it, lol. I was sad I missed that clip!!!Caught the tail end of it...

  • haha awesome i marched in the parade this year with the hibbing bluejacket band we are in you video at 4:45 i was in the very first row on the left corner i play the trumpet, that was the longest parade i have marched in we just got home today, we had to drive 30 hours to get there and 30 to get back, but it was worth it calgary was beautiful if you could, would you put the whole video of the hibbing marching band on here that would be awesome

  • How long was the walk actually?

  • about 1 hour 15 minutes..

  • ya it was almost 3 miles i think but yeah it took about an hour and 15 minutes

  • wow. we were there at eight thirty or earlier i think and left a little early just before noon...we couldn't stand there anymore!!! I can imagine walking ove an hour playing instruments and such was difficult!

  • ohh wow ya we stepped off at 10:15 and we were done around 11:45 or so it was long but it was worth it and i felt bad for the tuba players because their tubas weighed like 40 pounds

  • Yikes!!! They sure do look heavy. Good for building endurance and muscle though, eh?!?!

  • yeah haha they're all pretty buff

  • Thanks for that! This was supposed to be my last Stampede parade for the foreseeable future -and I missed it!!! I missed it to be at the job I love sooo much (detect the hint of sarcasm?) Seeing this reminds me that there are a few things atleast that I will miss about my hometown (and a lot I certainly will not). Lets just say it's time I must be movin' on. Once again -Thanx

  • Your welcome! I am sorry that you missed it. Although it may be your last, it was my first! It really made me happy to read your comment. I am glad that I helped you see the parade!! Where are you moving too?
