I believe that David Icke was disinformed regarding Earth's moon. In all honesty I think the moon existed shortly after the Big Bang Theory when it came too close to Earth and is now part of Earth's gravitaional pull. Just as Earth is pulled by the Sun's gravitational field, a meteor traveling a straight line will have its path bend due to the gravitational pull by a large magnetic force for example a planet. Without the moon from the beginning, life on Earth would be impossible.

I believe that David Icke was disinformed regarding Earth's moon. In all honesty I think the moon existed shortly after the Big Bang Theory when it came too close to Earth and is now part of Earth's gravitaional pull. Just as Earth is pulled by the Sun's gravitational field, a meteor traveling a straight line will have its path bend due to the gravitational pull by a large magnetic force for example a planet. Without the moon from the beginning, life on Earth would be impossible.

@MetafusionandSound1 There is actually no "dark" side of the Moon - all 'sides' receive sunlight during it's full orbital cycle - though there is a "far" side (that never faces us). In astronomy, this is actually relatively common and is a state called "tidally locked". There are literally dozens of moons which are tidally locked to their parent planet - it's not unique to our Moon by any means :-)
