It's episode 5 of the Orochi saga. KOF 98 was pure fighting dream matches with no story line, it was 94 when it all started with Rugal and the introduction of the Orochi story and therefore 99 is episode 5 of the saga.

i hope the gay fiery party ends once for all after this KOFXII because it was too much to basically put aside Terry and Ryo (whose rivalry between each other actually gave birth to the series), when not nerfing them like hell while giving the rookies or the less iconic characters all the goods in gameplay.
