definitely velvet underground too. tho i would say the singing sounds more like jim Morrison or john lennon than lou reed and the guitar does sound like beatles in some respects too.

my whole point was it just sounds dated . its good but its already been done. thats just my opinion i could be wrong i havent heard much of this bands stuff

wrong for the most part. sure, this sound has been done before, but what hasn't? i dig it. this song in particular reminds me of the stooges with out the crazy antics of iggy pop.

i agree, the whole 60's california pop is really in vogue again with indie bands like camera obscura and countless others, but yeah tho its been done before, resurgences always have the opportunity to innovate their influences
