hi. i love how high you jump. higher!!! lol. erm a few questions if thats ok. how big is your horse? how do u teach your horse to go steady up to the jump and stay in sequence when you have a jump, then a few strides and then another jump??? My horse has previously jumped over my 4 foot stable door and she is more dan capable of jumping 3 foot but what is the proper way to teach your horse to jump??? Thank you. Once again lovely horse. You 2 make a perfect team

erm well it has taken a long time to get it to fit together as much as its starting to now to be honest. for a start the horses flat work will need to be up to scratch, then work him in canter over one single pole, then add more , then turn them into small crosses etc and just build it from there. always ask for a steady canter if you feel its starting to rush turn a circle, just so long as ur not to close to the jump as your horse may start to run out. just all takes time . xx

thanks. no i hate horses rushing. LOL. its something ive always worked on for my horses. the steady the better, means if there is a longer stride you can lengthen it, if theres a short stride and ur going fast it can go so wrong lol. :-p

im going to start jumping my horse soon shes 16hh and has never jumped shes only jumped the fence where she is to get over to the other horses in the next paddock shes done that 3 times and cleared it and shes only a baby 3 years old!but one time she jumped the fence where there was a starpicket and cut her leg open but shes good now and i can ride her now! any way u did really great and hes a really good horse!lol

Yes it is, i love to sit and watch them and look back on progress etc too. Ive luckily moved to a new yard which my friend is also on so i get a few more taken now which is good!

he does that when his reins are very loose too, but he tends to fall if i dont support him on the land. But thanks anyway but he is rode the way he is meant to be rode!
