Just finished season 7 and damn, what a snake in the gras vic is!I can`t believe that ronnie my favourite character, the one man on the strike team who never made any mistakes and always was loyal had been screwed by the bald snitch! :o
Just finished all seven seasons a week ago, and WHAT a show. Right on my top shelf with Breaking Bad. This video along with ' The Shield Strike Team - Sorry " almost made me cry.
This was so out of character for Vic, it was a weak plot twist and I I don't now about the rest of you but I just din't buy it. Vic was prepared to do serious time in jail, and risk his life for his team many times. I fail to believe he would shitcan anyone he regarded as 'family'.
@MrDara31 I know man, but I still don't buy it. I don't think Corrin was a bitch though, not by a long shot. Naive about Vic's true nature and downright idiotic when it came to Dutch and Claudette manipulating her against Vic, but who can blame her, she was probably bloody terrified after the Armenians came to the house that time.
I agree, Ronnie's case would not go to trial. Worst case scenario: He could be convicted for obstruction of justice for keeping the lid on the murder of detective Terry Crowley where Vic only implicates himself. The other testimonies by Vic are circumstantial at best.... And they would not put Ronnie in the same place as Antwone Mitchell due to the risk of Ronnies safety. But that's another story and the one I followed for 7 awesome seasons was excellent. Long live the strike team!
Point for discussion - how could Ronnie be convicted of anything - it's Vic's word against his. No jury is going to convict on the basis of Vic's deal of immunity ? I wonder if any successful prosecution of Ronnie could proceed. Shane and Lem are dead and given any credible witnesses who could convict Ronnie. Any evidence from gang members against him would lack credibility.
@MegaTempez123 - Totally agree. interesting how we view them as heroes ( I do ) yet they were involved in corruption , robbery , torture ( Vic, Shane and Ronnie), murder ( Vic, Shane, Ronnie). It gets me now how I feel sorry for them.
it sucks too cus thats all ronnie was worried about too i even remmber him saying in season 6 "im not wearing state property on my back for the rest of my life" but if it's any consalation ronnie can be seen in the new sons of anarachy season 4? makes me feel a lil better hahaha :-)
@thefiskpiss I think Vic's fucked completely. He lost his badge, his family, his friends, everything. Believe me he is paying a price for his actions.
I honestly don't think Ronnie would still be in prison at this point. All the evidence against him would be based off Vic's confession and a good attorney could easily get a jury to have reasonable doubt about Vic being honest... I'm gonna guess Ronnie's attorney would take a 10 year plea deal and Ronnie would be paroled by now.
@wcwchris i had wishful thinking that something like that happened also, i mean it is California. But it was a ironclad deal that only could have gotten screwed up had Vic not lived up to his end of the bargain.
Another one I thought was all together Vic realized that Ronnie didnt deserve this. So he had a change of heart after his ICE desk shift was over and went to bust Ronnie out.
its so friggin sad when I.C.E bust the big drug deal, and ronnie's so happy and he thinks everything is over and that he has immunity, and vic just stands there silently.
I've recently started watching The Shield, and I'm slightly confused... What happens to Ronnie, is he dead or in prison and what's his relationship like with Vic?
in the first season...all ronnie was good for was pouting and going to plant bugs mid conversation, Armadillo should have finished the job. Tavon was a legend...he kicked van dammes ass
At first i didn't think too much of ronnie. Ronnie character changed the most doing the seasons. After lem's death ronnie step up more. But ronnie ending up just as bad as lem and shane. Locked up with the same people he put in prison.
shane killed lem to help himself, and vic sent ronnie to jail to help himself. vic pretended to be all about the team, but he ended up screwing over the one trustworthy person who was loyal to him throughout the entire show
vic and shane really were the biggest assholes in the strike team. i thought about what shane said in his suicide note, talking about how him and vic were evil, and made eachother worse, and he wasnt sure which one of them was worse. lem was loyal to his friends, and him and his conscience would always do the right thing. ronnie didnt have as much of a conscience, but he would always stick with the strike team, even if he didnt agree with them. vic and shane were just selfish assholes
Shane does some awful things but he is never as culpable as Vic, Vic creates Shane, from shooting Terry onward ( Shane can't cope and begins his epic decline )and in the end Vic is a monster - selling out Ronnie who never betrayed him and that twisted call to Shane about his children, Shane atleast feels remorse and understands what he's become , Vic never seems to accept the evil of what he's done -
I'm a thirty-year old man and this video makes me weep. Everything Vic did was forgivable, except for this. I... just cannot believe it ended this way. The Shield is the best show ever made. FREE RONNIE!!!
Seeing Ronnie all happy about the immunity and knowing Vic already took that deal and he was headed to Prison broke my heart. I love the Strike team and seeing them all fall, Lem's Death, Shane's suicide, Ronnie going to jail and Vic having to live with all that shit made me soooo sad. They didn't always make the best decisions but I could not help but root for them and hate everyone that was against them.
I was really hoping Ronnie was gunna go out shooting when I watched the finale. I mean he woulda killed Danny and Dutch, but wow, how crazy would that of been
I dont think Ronnie ended up in prison. There was no evidence linking him to any of the supposed crimes he committed. All they had was Vics testimony, and that wouldnt hold up in court. Vic is an admitted cop killer. Ronnie had nothing whatsoever to do with killing Terry Crowley, that was all Vic and Shane. Really, he probably woulda lost his job, but I dont see him spending alot of time in prison.
terry was out for himself, i wanna move to washington shit. only one episode as well i didn;t sympathise so much with his fate, ronnie was cool. they should have run and when clauddette and dutch got denied i contrived pleasure from that
Poor Ronnie. Since Lem's murder, he had become my avorite. I was so sad when Vic betrayed him. Shane really put it best when he called Vic "A goddamn hypocrite." He went on and on about protecting the team, but I guess he found Ronnie despensable.
@BlindPacemaker A "till" is a machine used in shops for the payment of goods. You should use the word "until", or, if you are brave enough to try using an apostrophe without screwing it up, and I strongly recommend that you don't, "'til".
@andylangen It doesn't have to be an English class to type in some coherent manner. What's the point in typing 14 dots when 2 commas would have done the job easier, quicker, and correct. Have you got shares in replacement dot keys?
It is YOU, therefore, who is a fucking retard, and a mentally ill lost cause, tapping on the dot key all the time for no fucking reason.
Dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot. That is how your posts read. Think about it, if you're capable, which I doubt.
@andylangen I see you still haven't worked out why I'm after BlindPacemaker. He offered to fight me, I arranged it, and he's backed out. How would you feel?
@andylangen I know you would love to fight my ass, which is why I'd just kill you with one blow and immediately wash my hands, you fucking homo pervert. EVERY ONE of your posts has gay content. That's your choice, but your perversion makes me physically sick, so I'm now blocking you.

@andylangen Oh, and I suggest you find out the reason for me chasing BlindExcuseMaker all over the internet. Google "BlindPacemaker" and find out the real story. He's a sack of shit, and I will hound him to death wherever he goes. He deserves it. You'd better stay out of it for you own sanity.
@andylangen You're too illiterate to have a life. I just noticed you posted 3 comments in a row to me, indicating your homosexuality. Sorry - not interested. Find someone else or a gay dating site or something ".....,,,,,,"
Fucking pervert. You should be removed from the gene pool, not that you're ever likely to contaminate it, being gay and all.
@andylangen Yeah, it takes a Brit to annihilate you. What are all those dots for? Are we supposed to fill in the missing words? Why do you sit there tapping 20+ times on the dot key for no reason? I can only assume you haven't had your medication or you need some more.
Oh, and the only reason I put my picture up was to prove someone wrong, and has NOTHING to do with you, so stay out of it. Dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot. Fucking psycho. Seek help.
No! Look at the photos n Vic's desk. Only those of Lem and his kids. Who is missing? The rest of the strike team including Ronnie When it comes down to it, those photos represent the people who still see Vic through innocent eyes who do not know the darkness inside him. His ex-wife is now expendable. He goes after her to get the kids back then plans to stumble upon a hige case that will make him indespensable and get him out of desk duty.
He shot a scumbag Armenian hitman who was going to kill Vic's little children. It doesn't bug me that much. His complicity in the death of Terry, though, is something all of them should have had to answer for.
Ronnie is probably raped, abused, and made into a bitch in prison. On the other hand, Ronnie was more than enough of a man than to want to regain his dignity. He probably hung himself in his cell before he got near a federal penitentiary.
@earlymtv - Antwon Mitchell probably has him taken out as soon as he arrives! He was going to do it to Lem, since that didn't happen, Ronny would be his next target thinking it would hurt Vic!
@earlymtv More than likely he ended up in the same prison as Antwan Mitchell and Antwan Mitchell wants to hurt the strike team for putting him in prison. I do believe Ronnie is not going to last long.
Which episode was this song actually used in I have the soundtrack and this is my favorite song and have found most of the other songs except this one. I've rewatched all the series up til episode 3 of Season 6. If anyone could let me know which episode this song is in that would be awesome.
Vic was a lot throughout the series...All the mistakes (except Shane's) were on him... But he wasn't a traitor... until the last episode. I didn't think him capable of it but... he was a survivior, like Kavanaugh said in season 5.
Which is the episode where Vic emerges from the house covered in blood, and which is the episode where Ronnie shoots the guy lying on the bed, big fan of the series but don't remember those moments?!
@MetalGearTX55 The clip where he shoots the guy is either end of season six or beginning of season 7. He is the armenian who was sent to kill vic but was diverted by shane. shane later cut the guys feet off with an axe to make it look like 'an internal armenian beef'
Vic tried hard to get Ronnie a deal but throughout the show Vic always put his family first and faced with the fact that his wife had been arrested he has 2 autistic children at home 3 kids to look after and his wife facing prison because of him. Ronnie would come second to that in anyone's eyes. Would you sell out your wife to save your buddy? Ronnie was loyal yes but in the end Ronnie should have looked out for himself. He always had before as Kavanugha pointed that out in Season 5.
I don't question Vic's motives, but BEFORE he even went to ICE for a deal, he should have warned Ronnie. After the fact he couldn't risk it, but had he done that, Ronnie would have run. It would have been a win/win for both men.
I completely agree. Ronnie was too loyal, thinking Vic had his back.
They weren't guaranteeing Ronnie's immunity, so Vic pushed it through faster (and without Ronnie) to protect Corrine... had Vic been as loyal as he expected others to be, he would have waited!!
If Vic had any balls or convictions whatsoever, he would have gotten in touch with Ronnie the *instant* Shane told him Corrine was working with the police, and run with him.
But he decided he'd rather work for ICE and send Ronnie to prison than live on the run.
Makes you wonder how serious Vic actually was the other times he said he'd take one for the team.
Vic would not believe Shane at this point. Not enough to risk the mother of his children going to prison. There's no way he would have listened to Shane.
well if you were Ronnie's attorney, how would you play that out? there is no evidence, all it is, is just hear say, i guess if they got vic to tesify against ronnie which i do not think he would, so how bad would his sentece really be?
@ranger1000 this is what i thought about too, if vic decided to leave the country there would be no one to testify against him and he would be free. Thats what i like to hope, no way vic would testify in a courtroom.
LAPD Rampart all the way. Exactly what happened with all those officers long ago. Honestly I always thought Gardocki was Crowley's partner with the whole Dept of Justice set up with Acevada. I never expected this. I always thought Ronnie was quiet because he was working with IAD.
fuck Vic, he fucked ronnie by making the deal for himself and Corinne! Shane killed Lem and Vic killed Ronnie by sending him to jail with Antwon Mitchell still in prison.. Ronnie & Lem were the 2 most loyal people on the striketeam and they both got screwed by the people they most trusted!! BEST SHOW EVER
That people keep making excuses for Mackey in this situation is ridiculous--he screwed Ronnie royally and out of all them he was the only unfailingly loyal guy.
Amazing how Vic didn't even had ronnie's picture on his desk...God dammit, everyone understands how and why he cut Shane's face, but he cut Ronnie's also???!?!?!
That hurted me big time....And Ronnie would NEVER turn on him just like Lem.
I know right! That really upset me. He holds Lem so high in his mind, yet Ronnie was JUST as loyal, he just wasn't killed for it. Rather he was BETRAYED because of it! I can understand that Vic wouldn't want that reminder looking at him, but it's still cold he can so easily forget.
Among other things, the ICE cowboy stuff, Ronnie always risking his life and career let's not forget that he killed the armenian hitman to protect Vic's family, no one ever killed for Vic if I can recall...
Um he straight up told Vic, he wasn't going to take a fall for him. If it had come down to it, he would have given up Vic. and he wasn't betrayed on purpose Vic did what he had to, he thought he was protecting his ex-wife and kids, he got the deal so they could be safe because he thought they were going to jail. same situation?, I'd do the same as Vic.
He wouldn't have given Vic up before running. Ronnie had planned to run, and would have been gone if Vic had let him. But he stayed for Vic, and that what a huge mistake... Yes, Vic's intention was to protect his family, but he still knowingly betrayed Ronnie without even giving him a heads up.
he deserved to run ... not be killed in jail :(

He shot a scumbag Armenian hitman who was going to kill Vic's little children. It doesn't bug me that much. His complicity in the death of Terry, though, is something all of them should have had to answer for.

i wonder how ronnies doing in prison? i wonder if vic will visit him from time to time?
earlymtv 2 years ago 3
Ronnie is probably raped, abused, and made into a bitch in prison. On the other hand, Ronnie was more than enough of a man than to want to regain his dignity. He probably hung himself in his cell before he got near a federal penitentiary.

@hopkins4545 Hey, I think that Vic take his gun in the final, because he will free Ronnie, and both run out of the law.
The TEAM is the most important!!!
mercenariohispano 2 years ago
I'm absolutely sure Vic would never visit him in prison. Vic couldn't face him, couldn't face what he did to Ronnie...
iadoreshield 2 years ago 7
@iadoreshield i think vic could,, remember, vic is unpredictable.......
andylangen 1 year ago
@iadoreshield yeah i think so too.. at the end the pile of lie he builded to protect himself was too much even for him..

@earlymtv - Antwon Mitchell probably has him taken out as soon as he arrives! He was going to do it to Lem, since that didn't happen, Ronny would be his next target thinking it would hurt Vic!

@earlymtv (lol)

@earlymtv More than likely he ended up in the same prison as Antwan Mitchell and Antwan Mitchell wants to hurt the strike team for putting him in prison. I do believe Ronnie is not going to last long.

The coolest member of the Strike Team. Ronnie Gardocki.

excellent clip video.
In My Opinion, in the end,Vic ended up in his own little prison.

Which episode was this song actually used in I have the soundtrack and this is my favorite song and have found most of the other songs except this one. I've rewatched all the series up til episode 3 of Season 6. If anyone could let me know which episode this song is in that would be awesome.
WanderleiFan1 2 years ago
Vic was a lot throughout the series...All the mistakes (except Shane's) were on him... But he wasn't a traitor... until the last episode. I didn't think him capable of it but... he was a survivior, like Kavanaugh said in season 5.
adinutzyc21 2 years ago
completely agree, nothing he did could turn the fans of the show against him except turning against his guy.
thesoundsofJAGX 2 years ago
Which is the episode where Vic emerges from the house covered in blood, and which is the episode where Ronnie shoots the guy lying on the bed, big fan of the series but don't remember those moments?!
MetalGearTX55 2 years ago
Vic (after beating Armadillo) end of: 2x02 Dead Soldiers and beginning of 2x03 Partners.
Ronnie shoots the guy in 7x01 Coefficient of Drag.
iadoreshield 2 years ago

GULLYGUS15 2 years ago
I don't question Vic's motives, but BEFORE he even went to ICE for a deal, he should have warned Ronnie. After the fact he couldn't risk it, but had he done that, Ronnie would have run. It would have been a win/win for both men.
I completely agree. Ronnie was too loyal, thinking Vic had his back.
iadoreshield 2 years ago
vic need ronnie to get the mexican guy
Manwe83 2 years ago
Exactly. But that wasn't in Ronnie's best interest, that was for Vic's win.
iadoreshield 2 years ago
Yeah but don't you think Vic could have waited until the end of the week when Vic and Ronnie were gonna get their immunity?
ThatUJohnWayne 2 years ago
They weren't guaranteeing Ronnie's immunity, so Vic pushed it through faster (and without Ronnie) to protect Corrine... had Vic been as loyal as he expected others to be, he would have waited!!
iadoreshield 2 years ago
If Vic had any balls or convictions whatsoever, he would have gotten in touch with Ronnie the *instant* Shane told him Corrine was working with the police, and run with him.
But he decided he'd rather work for ICE and send Ronnie to prison than live on the run.
Makes you wonder how serious Vic actually was the other times he said he'd take one for the team.
cmkastn 2 years ago
Vic would not believe Shane at this point. Not enough to risk the mother of his children going to prison. There's no way he would have listened to Shane.
GULLYGUS15 2 years ago
well if you were Ronnie's attorney, how would you play that out? there is no evidence, all it is, is just hear say, i guess if they got vic to tesify against ronnie which i do not think he would, so how bad would his sentece really be?
ranger1000 2 years ago
@ranger1000 this is what i thought about too, if vic decided to leave the country there would be no one to testify against him and he would be free. Thats what i like to hope, no way vic would testify in a courtroom.
iceplayer92986 1 year ago
LAPD Rampart all the way. Exactly what happened with all those officers long ago. Honestly I always thought Gardocki was Crowley's partner with the whole Dept of Justice set up with Acevada. I never expected this. I always thought Ronnie was quiet because he was working with IAD.
sergeant114 2 years ago
fuck Vic, he fucked ronnie by making the deal for himself and Corinne! Shane killed Lem and Vic killed Ronnie by sending him to jail with Antwon Mitchell still in prison.. Ronnie & Lem were the 2 most loyal people on the striketeam and they both got screwed by the people they most trusted!! BEST SHOW EVER
davezuid 3 years ago 3
dag,, i know they are all crooks.. but dag, he did ronnie wrong..
earlymtv 3 years ago 4
That people keep making excuses for Mackey in this situation is ridiculous--he screwed Ronnie royally and out of all them he was the only unfailingly loyal guy.
dagasdfa3333 3 years ago 6
Great video montage from the whole series.

Same old thing,
5 stars (awesome) + favorite = YOU ROCK MAN
Amazing how Vic didn't even had ronnie's picture on his desk...God dammit, everyone understands how and why he cut Shane's face, but he cut Ronnie's also???!?!?!
That hurted me big time....And Ronnie would NEVER turn on him just like Lem.
Anyways, keep it up!!
NeoDio24 3 years ago
Thanks! :)
I know right! That really upset me. He holds Lem so high in his mind, yet Ronnie was JUST as loyal, he just wasn't killed for it. Rather he was BETRAYED because of it! I can understand that Vic wouldn't want that reminder looking at him, but it's still cold he can so easily forget.
iadoreshield 3 years ago
No need to thanks, you sure deserve it.
Among other things, the ICE cowboy stuff, Ronnie always risking his life and career let's not forget that he killed the armenian hitman to protect Vic's family, no one ever killed for Vic if I can recall...
NeoDio24 3 years ago
Um he straight up told Vic, he wasn't going to take a fall for him. If it had come down to it, he would have given up Vic. and he wasn't betrayed on purpose Vic did what he had to, he thought he was protecting his ex-wife and kids, he got the deal so they could be safe because he thought they were going to jail. same situation?, I'd do the same as Vic.
MBK2K 3 years ago
He wouldn't have given Vic up before running. Ronnie had planned to run, and would have been gone if Vic had let him. But he stayed for Vic, and that what a huge mistake... Yes, Vic's intention was to protect his family, but he still knowingly betrayed Ronnie without even giving him a heads up.
iadoreshield 3 years ago
Amazing vid man! Do you think you could email me that screen cap of the strike team photo? Cheers
timduncan69 3 years ago
yeah i never truly understand why he cut ronnie's face...maybe it reminds him what had he done...
Manwe83 2 years ago
Why Armadillo burned Ronnie's face, you mean? He did that for revenge against Vic who did the same to him.
