I think its good when homeless people approach you to talk to them and ask them some questions and stuff. I bet they get tired of people ignoring them or being irritated at them. Some may think they're all bums or something but some homeless people are very interesting.

On giving money, I always say I'm penny pinching, and it's the truth. Of course, the logic that a dollar or so is the difference between living on the streets or not is a little silly, but dollars over a course of time?
I actually like the idea of having a discussion via video, because it can give another outlet and perspective into something we see everyday, yet choose not to face. Perhaps this could be a way to bridge the gap?
