  • forehand is king just like in tabletennis as it should be sampras running forehand best ever

  • put real points men, i love that 3 bakcahnds

  • put points idiot..

  • nadal's got such beautiful shape. ooo! i'll check that vid out--i shall try to find on your channel. good vids. thanks. b u

  • what do you think of nadal's forehand?

  • @darbocity Very effective, but although it's a very natural kind of shot too (even rather beautiful), it seems to be too much "expensive" . I may be wrong (and i hope so because Rafael is a very deserving athlete), but i fear for Nadal's longevity. I posted a comparison between Lendl, Federer and Nadal. Look at that and tell me what do you think about...

  • @matteodinenno I think he's going to have major wrist problems by the time he hits 35, not to mention his knees which might cause more problems.

  • @matteodinenno what do you think of Davydenko's forehand :) just asking

  • @matteodinenno Why do you fear for Nadal's longevity ? How does that have anything to do with his forehand ?

  • @cdn19940804 Too much expensive, exhausting, stressful. All that top spin demands too much efforts.

  • @matteodinenno All right ... Well, I just hope you're wrong, not that I'm a huge Nadal fan, but he's a very fair player, he's good for tennis

  • @cdn19940804 The reason Roger has been able to enjoy such lasting success is because every part of his game is completely natural. He expels very little energy and puts very little stress on his wrist, shoulder and arm when hitting this forehand. The fact that his forehand is also one of the most dominant shots in tennis is why it is one of the greatest forehands ever. Nadal's forehand, while great, is not as natural or as fluid.

  • @darbocity It sucks badly

  • @darbocity It's just horrible and with a big lift not a nice forehand like Roger or Pete.

  • looks like pete and ivan have a more moderate grip and higher elbow lift...roger has no elbow lift and a bigger grip...more turned over to semi-western?

  • @jhgosnell Yes: Federer's grip is more clockwise rotated in my opinion. Something between an eastern and a semiwestern.

  • @matteodinenno Roger uses a full eastern grip. It never changes.

  • @CalciumIRL Look at the end of my last Forehand comparison (between Lendl, Federer and Nadal). I show the respective grips from the same angle...

  • It's hard to say which is the best because they didn't play each other, but I think that the most elegant is federer's...

  • nice diagram at the end

  • Ivan Lendl the best!!

cant mess with the master of all trades.

  • Roger LOVE

  • LOL, 1:00

    what a crash

  • greatest forehand, hands down, is lendl. he fuckin tortured and killed his opponents with it.

C'è potenza (quasi come Sampras) eppure controllo totale (come Federer).

  • great song. underrated Elton John song.

  • @GMiltown You know it. BRAVO!
