I did this once. It took a lot of time to get the owner to not hate me again. We found a block in a parking lot and eventually chucked much of it in. Point of warning: if you do try this, and then get in the hot tub, keep your head above the vapor level if you aren't feeling like passing out and possibly drowning. Also, it can still give you a cold burn even if you are inside the hot tub as well.
i chucked about a 1kg of fry ice into my mates jot tub, she wasnt happy lol, the whole garden was filled with the vapour and we all had to tun inside to breathe lol
