  • what i love about this is its ww2 combat experience that allows the engineers in germany to build equipment like this. Thats what happens when u take on the world no matter if you lose you learn so much about the importance of vehicles like this to protect your tanks for aircraft just like the flakpanzer series protected thier tanks against allie air support. if you wanna know which countries military is the best to reflect nowdays its Germany all the way

  • @JeezyOuSuck Hitler didn´t make anything...actually german engineers in WW2 would have made a lot more sophisticated stuff without him as he delayed several projects with his stupid orders! The only reason why there were so many inventions was because it was war and german engineers got a lot of pressure, money and freedom (in terms of unconventional thinking) to solve different problems! It had nothing to do with Hitler!

  • Its battlefield 3!

  • @smitl046 lies >:O they don't move around in BF 3.

  • @hfdsssss While you may be trolling, Smit is an absolute idiot. From the physical similarities, I believe he has jumped to the conclusions that this is the AA tank in BF3, this is incorrect, the Russian army to this day use the Tunguska system, not the Flakpanzer Gepard.

  • @poik12 idc what kind of AA it is...my point was that in BF 3 they ain't moving around. but that would be cool if they did.

  • @hfdsssss They do move in BF3. there is a stationary and mobile one for each team.

  • @smitl046 bf 3 Sucks

  • @smitl046 LIES I TELL YOU!

  • 1:54 sounds and looks nice,best part

  • 1:04 akurate Friesi, so wie sich das gehört

  • so, the russian '' Tunguska'' is a copy of this german tank

  • Love you Germany !!

  • I wanted to hear the narrator pronounce the name of that AA gun.

  • Strap an 88 to that AWWWW YEEEAH!

  • @Azyashi You're talking to yourself you delusional moron.

  • This is what I find amazing. Not the fact that this tank is still advanced 30 years into service, but he fact that this is the only reliable way to shoot down an aircraft. Think about it, you can outsmart a missle and defeat its targeting system. But I have yet to see someone outsmart a bullet. (quoted from "meet the heavy" in Team fortress 2)

  • When I think of Germany I think about a country that got beat we should of drop the bomb on them like we did in Japan.

  • @fdlkfoo if youre serious, you should hurry and see a doctor

  • @Blumentopfy Yes I'm serious at the time of the 2nd war not now you dumb ass .

  • @fdlkfoo What do you think it was like for the people who werent Nazis ? Yeah, there were a few assholes.. Many assholes, if you want so.. But there were people (my grandparents, for example, I often talk with my grandma about 2nd ww) who werent happy with the government.. You cant just say : Hey, there are a few idiots, lets go bomb that country and kill a few millions of friendly, not at all racist people too ! Dont call me a dumbass, you dont have to insult me, do you ? =/

  • @Blumentopfy You might be right but they all hide from the brown shirts no way would anyone would voice there out cry for the killing of the Jews so ask them why they didn't voice out there out cry for them? I'll tell you why because they new better so in the meantime the Jews were being killed.

  • @fdlkfoo I tell you why, because if you had done that, you wouldve been killed or arrested, no use in both.. Of course, you might say. "I wouldve done that, its worth it".. But.. Believe me, you wouldnt have done that.. Not at all, you wouldve been fucking scared, how everyone else.. =/

=/ But I asked the same question once ;)

  • @fdlkfoo Shows how little you know about history, and by your logic let's nuke Germany a country in the middle of Europe, never mind where the radition will end up. Nice move.

  • dear Santa...

  • press 8 a couple times....lol

  • These guys are natural engineers. Always good. Long live Germany. From India with love...

  • Cheetah=cheater...muhuahaha xD

  • This was fielded in the 1970s? Wow, that is some technology for that time.

Always had respect for anything German, their quality is just superb.

  • what all this military shit would be worth in the last 30 years of the cold war when the russians / soviets had 2700 SS stationed and aligned they to central europe

  • if germans are in afganisthan...wy dond´t with this weapons?

  • @mo1168 Politics, boy that´s politics...

  • @ianyardman thinks we will never understand ...

  • @mo1168 we need our good weapons here in germany not at the ass of the world.

if we come at warhere in europe...we are fucked when our army in afgansthan is.

  • fuck u tube fuck all hillbilly who invade for oir and kill people with know reason fuck goats

  • hey with got a fucking hillbilly name browna09 he must be a busch cowards fan yea a fucking hillbilly trying to past as german fuck his country

  • pay no attecion to any comment commin from pussy cowards hillbillys goats from amerishit

  • Thats a mouth full

  • German tanks r the best

  • And this reminds me of Eurotrip, as when Cooper isn't able to pronounce the safe word... "FLÜGGÅƎNK∂€ČHIŒβØL∫ÊN". "This isn't a safe word!"

    NOWHERE NEAR BERLIN!

  • Best name ever. My new favorite word is Flugabwehrkanonenpanzer

  • dear santa...

  • Aimbot n00b

  • eine geile kiste!!

  • Germany ahuaa

  • '

that is so cooool germany tank with machine gun,,,

this tank can shooting all ussr russia jetfighters down

  • i bet even this tank would shot down that piss of crap raptor like a pussy it is

  • @ElHuevoMeLamben69 Oh sorry I wasn't supposed to reveal the fact you like sucking cock? so sorry

  • @ElHuevoMeLamben69 If you want to debate , please debate clearly , not based on a "Dream" and other things not related. you clearly didnt understand what is this. AA guns are different from Tanks , Dont pose like you know all of the stuff when you clearly didnt fully understand it. F22 radar can also focus its emissions to overload enemy sensors (that Gepard heavily relies)

  • @R4pidSh0t litsen you fucking goat hillbilly fucking20s is made out of paper a piss of shit is doom as your pittyfool nation

  • Another Hitler should rise again in this time grow they army and america should elected kkk bush so he can be fuck by germany

  • the germans make effective weapons and they also make it beautiful ,thats what i like about german technology

  • The Germans don't just have better weapons, they're weapon names are cool too :)

  • I have an unbuilt 1/16 scale Tamiya R/C Gepard, and this video really makes me want to dig the thing out and build it. Definitely one of the coolest AFV's ever designed. And two 35mm guns with a combined rater of fire of 1100 rpm, OUCH!

  • Make it big, make it tracked, make it big-gunned, make it cool. Make it the German way.

  • long live germany man, these german scientists are human wonders. in ww2 it was actually germany that would have won, they definetly were the strongest, but cause their lack of number they lost the war and 2 inportant wrong decisions. if they had a lil more time europe would have been all nazi. very scary fact.

  • @twinkstance Except that America joined the war and then the Nazis had no chance. Also the nuclear capabilities of America ensured it was a far superior military power.

  • @browna09

"...nuclear capabilities of America..."...there were also German scientist involved, isn't it? (e.g. Einstein). Scientist doesn't exactly know how far German capabilities were advanced - but newest examinations shows that they were already testing. I think, Germany was technological far ahead regarding the U.S. troups. But under war-conditions in such a small country is something different to keep up industrial production, war production, science. America never had to manage it.

  • @cyberOwwwOecho

I think you mean Oppenheimer, also called the father of the nuke...

  • @browna09 In WWII Germany surpassed America on EVERY technological level, the Americans won due to their superior industrial complex. The Tiger tank (the most advanced of it's time) could kill 5 Sherman tanks to every Tiger tank lost on average, the Americans could produce 7 or 8 Shermans to every Tiger the Germans could make.

  • @greywolf424 no they win because of russia and other fucking cowards countries that join is like 10 to 1 thas why

  • @ElHuevoMeLamben69 In your dreams COCK SUCKER.

  • @browna09 America stole eveything from every country they say they have but they have shit admit mother fucker you all fucking burglars yeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Comment removed

  • @ElHuevoMeLamben69 all people in the world know : US-Amaricans are dummie`s & little flaming girls

  • @browna09 nuclear capabilities after those cowards stole it from germany pussy common kkks tell everyone how you stole technology using spy other countries kkks

  • Comment removed

  • Technically you are correct, realistically you are wrong.

Germany is in possession and control of 60 B61 nuclear weapons, and trains in deploying them.

Germany circumvents the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty by claiming that they don't own them, which is true, but they are at German disposal.

Germany also has all the components at their disposal to build them very rapidly.

Don't be fooled, Germany has the ability to be as destructive as any other nuclear power.

  • omg! 2:00

  • just imagine what price the germans would have payed to get just one of these back in 1944

  • Cool.. in english please....

  • you're an idiot

  • How is it possible that something so simple could have such a long name?

  • @fernbeba I think it's because many German words are compound words (two words put together to form a new one).If there's any German speaking person here, please correct me if I'm wrong.

  • You're totally right. The word "Flugabwehrkanonenpanzer" is a word combined by four different words: "Flug" = "fly/air", "abwehr"="defense", "kanone" = "canon" and "panzer" = "tank".

  • its wright.

we don't say e.g. drinking bottle mounting but Trinkflaschenhalterung

  • @yourbesteyes it's more like four words. : Flug Abwehr Kanonen Panzer !!!

  • never try to cross germany with helicopters :P

  • It seems to work if they fly right over it.

  • the thing i like about german weopons is : they are always ahead of the rest of the world

  • They have said that German is the language most spoken by Engineers.

  • English is the world's common language.

  • @WillyWonkaChocalate Yes, german is (or was, not sure) one of the main industrial languages, at least of Europe :)

  • only until WW2.

But Me262 and V2 were great!

  • german horton brothers were the ones who designed b2 bomber, german scientist carl zeus invented the worlds first digital computer ,king tiger was the first tank to have an autoloader(way before t 72) ...i can go on and on and on....

  • they aint shit...they might have been ahead in those days but they def didnt know how to use them thats why U.S.A tore this new assholes

  • @iDntGivaPhuk

Yeah only america....-.-They had allies but that doesnt matter ha?

  • fucking germany had allies too..

  • @omairiqbal889 da hast du recht mein freund! :)

  • @wilko1297000 sorry i am from Pakistan and dont understand german can u repeat that is english

  • Comment removed

  • @omairiqbal889 they were ahead

  • @omairiqbal889 Agreed. They build good shit.

  • @omairiqbal889

Not bad, but the best middle range AA is the Tor M1.

  • this thing is pure power. Might be a bit of a target now days for anti tank missiles, but have a look at it! Its freekin scaaary. Any of the talkbots that talk too much bout things that they know nothing of, would simply drop dead from fright if one of these came at em in thier cosy little lounge while they were wackin off and eatin cheese. Great vid of a real bum burner

  • there's a new version

  • but with the rate of Tech advancements in terms of Air superiority planes, armor cant seem to keep up. T_T

  • Anyone can argue all day long with 'who copied what from who', and the likes of ' my dad's better than your dad ' blah, blah. FACT : Only a FOOL, would discount and or ignore German engineering in Civilian or Military applications, quality kit that kicks, and yes, this vehicle is aged a bit now, BUT think of this, the more 'fancy tech ', the more to go wrong. ( which is very much the case ).

  • Imagine if the Taliban bought a second-hand one of these...

  • those germans really know how to build their weapons

  • Oh wow, typo, learn*

  • Thats not true. The Gepard is older that the Tunguska.

  • flugagewagra....?

    WTF??

  • @WwWMaNiAk keep sayin that, and you'll keep gettin slaped

  • well, turkish are taking over now.

  • @yxhe but the weapons of the turkish army are mainly from other countries.

  • Today AAA are used more in combination with short range sam units to protect against guided weapons like cruise missiles or low flying choppers , thats the main reason they still around. and if they are to face Both SU-25 and A-10 can take punishment but are more likely to save pilot , but not take that kind of punishment ,

  • A Gepard is never alone.you always have a whole group of anti-air units. They all are wired and dont even need to radar the area to get infos. any aircraft will be fucked up if locked on, cause then it is too late. A warthog needs to know where units are so they can do a run on em...try find em without info on their location. 80% wont return to home. war is not about 1on1 ladies!

Many are copying these technologies but they cant reach em on performace...like the tnguska. unreliable shit

  • The first Gepard Tank was built in the 1970ies

  • nahh this would murk lowflying bombers

  • Would down warthogs anytime

  • whatever

  • yeah seriously...what is an A-10 designed to do??? Kill tanks and anything else that gets in its path...with triple redundant flight control systems, even if this AA Gun tank got a few hits on it, the A-10 would turn it into swiss-cheese with its gattling gun, or better yet, long before this AA gun could get a shot off, an AT missile from the A-10 would turn it inside out...

  • ahnnnnn the a10 got 30mm rounds. this tank got 35mm guns. and two of them btw...... whatever, hopefully it will never c action

  • it said it shoots atomaticly, wat if theres a bird?

  • Free dinner!

  • it doesn't really shoot automatically...and the bird would have to be pretty big as well (a shite-hawk maybe?)...

  • Birds don't show up on normal radar sys.

    - unless they have a metal sheet in tow.

  • wat if it was a racig pigeon or something with a metal ring on iut's legs?

  • Greetings, A small ring of metal would not show up, unless the bird is sitting on the radar it self , but one would think this would never happen with the engine on.

( now some Airports, they do have radar that would see a bird. ) Lt Clark Civil Air Patrol

  • The MERLIN Avian Radar System - would be found at Airport. ...just a note to all.

  • amazing aircraft watchout baby

  • why couldnt they just call it "flug"?

  • The German language is great for long words...

"Flugabwehrkanonpanzer, Obergruppenfuehrer, usw." (pardon me, my keyboard has no "umlaut")

  • man sieht du hast ahnung

  • russian (usan too) indeed copy some of german military technology and improvised it... labeled it made in russia and made in usa...

  • Hey, nice video. Is there in german army some gun with the same system of the tor-m1. This look-like tungunska. It seems russian imitated german army.

  • The Tor-M1? I think the closest equivalent to that was the old Roland SAM launcher. Nowadays, the Gepard is fitted with disposable Stinger launch tubes additionally to the cannons and the Bundeswehr is using light SAM units based on the Wiesel tankette.

  • @Magni56

Those disposable Stinger launch tubes on the Gepard don't exist. KMW show them on their demonstrator, but the Bundeswehr decided not to upgrade their Gepards any more, because a) They have the Ozelot (Wiesel-Tankette) as you said and b) Gepard will be phased out 2015.
