I don't have a cube handy, but I recently tried solving one, and almost realized what you've mentioned (but I didn't quite figure it out on my own). I think this will really help next time I try solving one. ^_^

Much better than other videos I seem. Most of them all seem to be about the algorithms(sp?), which is a lot to remember and not as fun finding out how it works. Still trying to do the corner pieces, but it's great how I know what I'm doing now.

Ok, so im sure your amazing tut. does work, but i just don't know why everytime i solve one side the centre pieces of 2 other sides dont match.. It's strange since 2 sides of the cube, the centre pieces match with the one's above it, but 2 sides of the cube, they dont.

And i dont know if you get what i mean.. i mean is it me or is it my cube..? Anyway, if anyone can tell me the problem i would appreciate it.

@ForevaNewsh : I would just take apart the cube and re-assemble it solved. Then mix it up and start again. 9 times out of 10 this will solve problems with people trying to learn how to solve the cube.....let me know.

@pixelguy Ooh, yes it worked! i re-assembled it and started again and have it solved... still don't know what happened to it the first time though...
