I like the way it can fire missiles backwards as a deterrent....regardless of whether its an Iranian F14 or Russian SU35 or even a Chinese J10 The Typhoon is can take on all commers., But the new Russian PAK FA can jam enemy radar though.

This old timer was concieved in 1979. Ths plane is commonly compared to the f-18f superhornet. Although the superhornets has more advanced electronics. Built by a consordium starting in 1986. Not bad for it's age, but by no means comparable to the F-22

the first YF-22 flight was in the 1989, the EAP (the "prototype" thypoon powered by tornado's engines) was in 1986. Think about it..
