The Thunderdome was a board full of trolls modeled on the style of the *Chans. However the crucial element of anonymity is missing, meaning the whole idea falls apart. People can target individuals, peer pressure comes into play, feelings get hurt, drama unfolds.
The Thunderdome was flawed from the start, and it has failed.

Aswell as watching all of Tory's video, I also took the time to read all relevant thresds on Enturbulation and TD. One thing I don't understand is why Tory's posts were edited? What's the motivation? From the "Last Maggo Thread" - "3 of Magoo's posts were edited, at least 2 by MPB. Skeptic1337, Gunslinger and MPB could all edit posts in TD at the time".Am I misunderstandng something here? Is this a common practice in TD? I appreciate any feedback on this, I just want to make sure I understand

You should apologize for misrepresenting what happened, over and over. You came to TD and basically said "DO YOUR WORST, FAILTROLLS." WTF did you expect when you asked "Is that the best you can do?" No one threatened to rape you. Did they make rape jokes? Yes. But there was no rape threat and it certainly wasn't MPB. Fuck the logs, I saw it as it was posted live.

It seems to me that 'The Thunderdom' is/was an extremely toxic, nasty, unhealthy, etc environment - but I have never been there. Someone from that bad place theatens all kind of EXTREMELY nasty things, and it is just regarded as a joke! That is just plain sick.
This is causing more damage to the Amonymous campaign than you realize.

It is what started it in the first please; it's all about the laughs. It's very exciting, and people feel attracted to it. Same reason why some like 'America's funnies Homevideos' or 'Jackass', and even sometimes it really is very funny!
Personally. i don't really like it, but some do... And sometimes it is extremely funny! but not al jokes are good, and some even terrible... but hey, thats live!

It is a distraction. Your right. However, by simply appologizing, everyone who has a problem against you over this will stop complaining. They will not like you. But most will stop complaining. Also, almost everything anon does online is jokes, and pranks, don't take it so seriously. We joke and prank each other all the time. It really isn't a big deal and never has spilled out into real life.

Tory, the existence of the Dome will not jeopardize any facts Anonymous delivers about the cult. It will not damage a fact in its credibility.
Its a place where the youth internet generation has some fun, and yes, they may cross borders but be honest: There has been no real threat to you on TD.
If you get death threat calls, please inform the police. This has nothing to do with Anonymous at all. In fact, i urge you to inform them, this has to be cleared up.

Magoo, you've probably been told this already, but I want to say it anyway. The Thunderdome is a flaming train wreck because it has to be. It is there to provide an outlet for all the stupid flames and arguements so that they don't spill over onto Enturb. I garantee you that 98% of what is in that forum is baseless fake trolling and flaming.
Trust me when I say this: Thunderdome is there for a reason, and that reason is not so that it may be taken seriously. Ignore the flamers and trolls.
