@kamelion7 ARE YOU CRAZY I'm sorry but Matt has shown more quirkiness in the Doctor than the previous two, Matt's amazing in the role too, he's up there with Patrick Troughton in my book, he's far better than most of the Doctor David Tennant, Ecclestone and Colin Baker are at the bottom in my opinion, right from the start Matt showed quirkiness, i'm not having negative comments on here..

@uofc57 In addition to the other answers, Lalla Ward (who played Romana's first incarnation) had some input into what costumes she wore. She asked June Hudson for her character to be able to wear a school uniform so that wee girls in real life wouldn't feel so bad about wearing theirs. That and the idea that it represents her character's thirst for knowledge.
