@playagc25 Sorry to take so long to respond. The answer is yes. I bought a cell phone screw driver toolkit in a building supply store and followed the video step by step. I weared a head magnifying glass too, but If you don't need glasses you're probably fine! The toolkit was usefull to replace my son's NDS touchscreen too.
I am about to change my second hand Nokia N95 casing. I realized that someone had already changed the casing. The problem is that in order to unscrew the screws they did not use a T5 screw. I can only unscrew one. The other three from the slide have a rounded shape instead of the star shaped. Is there a way to remove them without forcing too much the slide and damage the screen? Thanks
it was ON during the washing cycle so idk if its fully fried.... i have dryed other phones that have fallen in toilets and pools and have been just fine after some sun drying.
Not this guy though, please help me with some advice if you can.
should i attemp to take it apart and clean all the corrosion I see? i have fixed moto razors and laptops so i have experience doing so... thanx for posting an lcd replacement issue...
if i look at the circuit board from what i can see before deassembling it fully... i notice slight corrosion on some of the battery terminal points, and other connectors that are visible form the outside... im afradithis phone is done, but i dont want o give up on it....
hello friend, my mother was trying to be generous by washing my clothes while i was gone in my apt... and she washed my n95... i have dried as much moisture as i can from it with a house light and sun lit sitting still... the chassis seems dry like any other cell phone would be after it falls in a pool or w.e. but now it will only boot until the nokia screen.... the screen stays black but i can read nokia for 2 minutes then it shuts off.....
i have a problem water got into my n95 and it doesn't charge and turn on whaht do i do help plz
