Francois Steyn is probably the games best fullback these days. O'Driscoll is hyped up but De Villiers and Fourie are better than him. I'd say for every good Northern Hemisphere player there is an as good or better player down sourh.

They are more well rounded players than O'Driscoll who is brilliant at the flair but isn't as good in other departments. The last two Tri Nations games Fourie has run the ball out of his in goal area when other players would kick and retained the ball. France are good when they aren't taken seriously

The Welsh lack consistency.

Lomu was a freakish blend of size, speed, skill and strength.

Trying to minimize Lomu's greatness because of his size is as absurd as attempting to enhance Williams' achievements because of his diminutive stature. Players play more games in pretty much every sport these days because there are more international fixtures, hence more opportunities to break records. Lomu was a freakish blend of size, speed, skill and strength.
