Was wondering if the Denon headphones you wear are comfortable for long periods. Also if you sweat alot, do the earpads take alot of wear? Is it leatherette or urethane or rubber earpads? Also you need a laptop stand, it can be dangerous to lean over the jogwheels like that, whether sitting down or standing up. Elbows happen :(

@ArcticFalcon the Denon headphones are great! no complaints at all about them. lol...dunno how much you sweat at the ears, but i haven't had that problem yet with it soaking in water...i think it's leatherette?not rubber, and dont know what urethane is..hehe...thanks, i got a laptop stand like a week after i made this video, good looking out though...

@mahatmagapa you can certainly mix from the ipod, but the only real controls you have is the volume for it.

@Cesarizshizz no, you can use cd's and an ipod...

@Cesarizshizz CDs can be used to mix, but you can't mix the iPod really except for lowering the deck volume and increasing the volume of the iPod deck. But if you're just using CDs and iPod, I'd just pick up the Numark iCD Mix-2 which only uses CDs and an iPod and it's half the price.

hey dude, i would suggest you not get into the habit of pressing the sync button too often, but overall really smooth transitions,

oh and btw i just got the mixdeck (i had turntables before), but for some reason my deck b is only reacting too deck a, so i can only use channel a's mixer for b as well as a, for instance if i put channel a's volume up so does b's, i want deck b to just respond to channel b's mixer, hopefully that makes since.

Instead of looping on the computer, you can loop on the decks.. pressing the 1 2 and 3 buttons.. when in traktor pro (you should upgrade from LE if you haven't) looping is so easy. I like your mix. Sounds good. I'm still figuring this thing out, I'd like to use it with different software, but mapping is a b*tch for some reason.

@DJSCREWBIE it comes with Traktor LE that you can install on your laptop and the Mixdeck becomes a MIDI controller.

I was using my webcam for this and running off of Traktor.

The mixdeck won't work with itch. they're really particular about which devices will work with it.

im not all technical with turntabalism and all but you know, its nice to have a few cuts and scratches in a mix.

@filipinorice actually there is a switch in the front for the crossfader, switch it to the left ur crossfader slope is for mixing and switch it to the right, its for scratching.

And you're right cuts and scratches are a must to make a mix complete, I'm so working on it..hehe!

There are videos already with pretty good reviews(which i've watched before I got my Mixdeck), if they still leave you with alotta questions, i'll be glad to answer any or try my best at a review of my own. Let me know.

@DjDeKazz ah so i've heard. Idk I've just heard so many mixed reviews either on video, or in forums about the crossfader being whack and stuff. Also heard about problems with tracktor glitching cuz the mixdeck can only control it through the cd decks and not the mixer itself. Have you had any problems with that?

Also have you tried this with Serato Itch or any other software.

I'd appreciate a really thorough review, now that we know you can mix well :)

@filipinorice @filipinorice oic, I haven't had too many problems with the crossfader, but then I again, I only really use it to mix and not for scratching (not yet anyways). I'm probably not understanding your question right, but what parts of the mixer did they say that doesn't control Traktor?

@filipinorice One thing I've noticed is that when you have a song that has alil silence before it actually starts, then you go to que the actual beginning,Im not sure if its the song i had, but at times when you press play,theres a half second delay when it actually starts to play.
