  • great song .....love it so much

  • COOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLL

  • loved it

  • THANXXX ! ! !

  • I didn't even know Lee was dead. Really sorry to hear that. Lee had a deliberately menacing stage personality, but off stage he was the nicest guy you'd ever meet. These guys were a major influence on the early punk bands ( Clash, Sex Pistols), though the latter were too busy promoting themself to ever admit that. RIP Lee Brilleaux.

  • perfeckt perfekct

  • Good video for it's time-not crazy about them

or the words--really liked the vintage cars.....**stars

  • this is rock n´roll baby!

  • When I first watch is video on Tiswas back in the late 70's, I thought is was a Jerry Lee Lewis cover. A fantastic song.

  • Julien Temple is putting the final touches to a doc on the band its called Oil City Confidential its showing at the London Film festival

  • ... I Cant belive Lee died, He was amazing, last time I saw him was in 1988 When he was passing through and i just Said 'Hey are you Lee Brilleaux!?' And he Replied with a Simple yes, And then i thought he was my friend cuz he bought me a pint, I cant belive Lee died though, he was a good friend to me

  • keep coming back for a fix ,straight from the gut this stuff. Better than some of the sanitized music going round with all the edges polished off! love it!

  • Gypie Mayo. Great guitarist, though obviously not Wilko and he wouldn't ever claim to be. However, he kept that screaming Telecaster sound going, and that's what made the Feelgoods, along with Lee's unique menace.

  • The BEST pubrock band ever bar non. Ive seen them many times, but not since Lee died, I dont think it would be the same. The last time I saw them was at Brighton Top Rank Suite in 1990, I chatted to Lee at a small side bar before the show, he was drinking a double orange juice and gave me pat on the back as he left, great guy, thats the last time I saw him. I was passing Canvey Island a couple of years ago; I had to show my son the towers burning at the...late afternoon unfortunately.

  • I actually have a live album from 79 or 80-each side has a different show, including their version of "In the Night Time". It's amazing they managed to get another great guitarist-nothing like Wilko, but I think he's just as good, based on how they sounded live.

  • fucking love it..............

  • Fantastic!

    luv Dr Feelgood

been searching for Tanqueray...can anyone post ...thx

  • I felt I learned from Dr.Feelgood in every way - through the senses, theoretically, technically. I could watch Dr. play and find out the things I wanted to know. Also, I could see a lot of things I didn't know at all. United States of Erotica.

  • These guys were genius: saw 'em live at Sydney's The Tivoli in 1985: bikers and Mods sharing a venue. Who'd have guessed.

  • Saw em in Douglas Palace Lido in 1986 mate during Isle of Man races. Great band :)

  • haha, me too mate, awesome gig :D

they should bring the Lido back

  • yeah it's funny that GOOD MUSIC can sometimes attract arch-ennemies like mods and rockers (or was it a press thing)...the best Feelfgoods period is WILKO BILKO and GYP...later Johnny Guitar was alright but not as IN YER FACE. I saw them too round 85 but I dig the olde albums best.

  • Lee Brill drank the bar...long before ELVIS had left the building...the others survived the onslaught, I wonder how ...maybe they couldn't keep up. His politics sucks big time tho'...I like Riding on the L n N. very train groove...not like riding with Network south-east or riding with green sleeves on the tracks. Duh!

  • We can only hope Lee Brilleaux's in a better place now, where he's kept on a diet of milk and alcohol

    ;-)

  • going back home with wilco is amazing .

  • Lee is amazing in that song- live video - Wilko what can you say - they were such a fucking brilliant band

  • grevling2: It's John "Gypie" Mayo .

  • is it henry mcullogh who play guitar?

  • As I recall Henry McCullogh did fill in briefly between Wilko leaving and Gypie joining the Feelgoods.

  • This was one of my favourite Dr Feelgood songs i do not like the other songs of them just this one and it still remains as their only U.K. top-ten hit !!

  • a band with balls...because thats rock and roll...so simple

  • they own...but they are still bit wierd....just like i like them

  • this is one of the best songs of the 70s. And one of the first singles I bought.

However Is that really 'dr feelgood'? he needs a makeover, and some facial hair (sideburns don't count) and about 4 stone of muscle or flab, i don't care which.

  • Amazing band! I've seen the guitar player Gypie Mayo playing with The Yardbirds. He's a real guitar wizard doing the Clapton/Beck/Page stuff with brilliance. I've always thought of Wilco Johnson as the Feelgood's best axe player, but I'm not so sure anymore. Mayo's replacement - Johnny Guitar was also good. Dr Feelgood was one hell of a band!

  • he currentley plays the restaurant circus wherever UK people can afford a meal. He's really into MIDDLE-ageing music. i.e....Minstrels playing luth with damzels in distress typed-stuff. He quit the YARDBIRDS because you can only be a parody for so long. The Yardbirds died when keith put his hands in the plug. The Yardbirds died when Clapton refused to go to the barber's, they died eventchually when Page let his testicles hang out the wrong way and he allegedly started the first super band.

  • Gyp is into any music thats music! Finest most balanced musician you could ever wish to meet and generous with it 101%

  • I didnt't diss him..I love this guy !! He's one of the best guitarists around (and there are a lot!)...I saw him live with THE PRACTICE when BIG FIGURE and SPARKO came back together and found an really good impersonator to play the FEELGOODS catalogue, that was after 'the doctor' had departed this earth for a better planet. I love GYPIE me!

  • Back of the net!!

  • This is R 'n' B , not the substandard crooning that is passed off as such today.

    Sit up and listen, enjoy!

  • @nobby1997 its rock and roll. For faggots everything is RnB or techno, even metallica.

  • @smoku46 It is R 'n' B. For faggots R 'n' B means today's computer shit.

  • @nobby1997 RiannWHO ??

  • get in there :)

  • Love the guitar-player; he looks like such a no-good!!

  • legendary

  • R&B Brute force straight from the box !!!

Dr's forever. Greetings from Spain ;)

  • pukka

  • Really good song, great video, good memories!

  • I always loved this song. Thanks for posting it.

  • An almighty record from an almighty band - an absolute classic, Cheers Lee and the boys
