What would you consider "goth" music. Is it trance, industrial, scream-o? Last I checked none of those were called "goth" music. Manson is technically rock but would you dare not call him goth? Have you bothered to look at the lyrics and general look, feel, and sound of the group?

This is Juka, not Seth.  As someone already said, they both wear different clothing (Seth has that eyepatch), the facial structure is different, and of course their voices are very distinct. Compared to this video, Seth's voice is deeper. So whoever keeps marking down those that identify the correct singer in this vid, quit it, it's petty.

I really like M10M's music but since I play guitar I can tell you he's playing powerchords most of the time(you can see that+you can hear that), the whole synth thingy is way more complicated and would be kind of impossible to play on guitar (atleast for him)since that goes more into the Melodic Death Metal Genre,where melodies like those are played on guitar,if you're not used to this style of melody-playing ,you wouldn't be able to pull those synth thingies off on guitar without mistakes.

And really, Mana's music isnt about his technical ability to play, its about the feeling in it.

Personally,I HATE vai's style of playing without saying he's a bad guitarist, petrucci is okay and amazingly technical but still not my cup of tea, but that's just personal dislike. Gus G is indeed a genius as he manages to play relatively simple but fitting throughout the song just to unleash a truly incredible,heart warming solo somewhen later in the song.What I wanna say is that "impressive" is somehow the wrong word, the music is,and the guitar is perfectly fitting into this picture,you see?

vai is like marmite,he's undoubtedly musicaly fantastic, but i understand some people dnt like to listen to stuff so... polished. i dont most of the time either :) and jp's slos, especially with dt on ther scenes from a memory cd, are wonderful. gus g, yes.... very good frm wht ive heard. i guess though its just a difference of vocabulary... the fact it fits and contributes perfectly, is to me, the very definition of impressive guitaring. i d knw exactly what you mean though :)
