Poison oak is common in all riparian areas of Southern California and usually takes about 1-2 weeks after contact to develop the rash, unless you've had it before then it comes on quicker. Just touching it might not bring is on, the stepping on it or damaging the leaves or stems causes the Urishiol to leak out, that's the bad stuff. It's a nice pretty spot along the river. I need to check it out again.
My freinds and i just went hiking there and we have no idea what poison oak looks like and we were all of that trail even heading of the trail going in the river climing rocks especially in the area u said full of posion oak hahahahahah we just figerd if we got itchy then we are in trouble for us being all over the brushy area im surprise we didnt get any on us we!!!!!!!great video by the way and did you check the other side of the street were there is a place thats deep enough to swim?
