It was written back during the campaign...I did not vote for Obama even though I was a registered democrat. Even I could see how far left this man was leaning. I also carefully studied his political background. McCain allowed all comments on his page. Obama only allowed the positive comments. When I tried to post (several times) obama's poor record as Senator, none were ever approve. Freedom of speech...Only McCain allowed pos. AND neg...which spoke volumes.

Let's follow the logic here. People bought loans they couldn't afford. Fannie and Freddie backed the banks that made them. Banks could make these loans, bundle and sell them as annuities. It is these annuities that crashed once housing values dropped. This was all possible due to Phil Graham's efforts to repeal a depression era law limiting what banks can do. The Republican Congress passed and Democrat President Clinton signed. Banks stopped being just banks. All are guilty here.

Actually, Raines was appointed CEO of Fannie Mae by Clinton and literally stole $96 million after cooking the books.
His predecessor, Jim Johnson (also appointed by clinton) did the cooking of books and "only" stole $25 million.
Johnson was b.hussein's VP search chairman until he resigned in disgrace. Raines continues to advise b.hussein.
These are the core people & reasons why fannie caused the financial mess we have today.

Well the anthem isn't the one where you put your hand over your heart (Especially when the singer was terrible). But either way it didn't and wouldn't bother me for many reasons. One; it was only that one occasion, you don't see republicans flipping out when McCain doesn't wear a flag pin or doesn't put his hand on his heart. Reason number two, which is the most important. I'm Canadian, so I can only account for the Americans I know, and news flash, they don't give a shit about it either.

Barack Obama did receive contributions from Fannie and Freddie employees, but if you look a little deeper you'll find that most of that money was from Middle-Management and below, while John McCain received most of his donations from those organizations from Directors, Officers, and Lobbyists. The housing and mortgage crash is a result of loose lending practices pushed-through by the likes of Democrat Barney Frank. In 2003 both Bush and McCain introduced legislation to tighten-down, or at least to have oversight on, lending practices. News reels show Democrat Barney Frank shot their proposals down.
