i was there today and did some work on that street for some wonderful people. it was amazing to hear such an optimistic view of the recent events there. Humbling indeed in the face of a LOSS! wish there where more people like you guys! god bless!
Lots of areas got it worse than us. Though some of my neighbors, three or so houses down, got it very bad. Four feet in garage. Mud in first floor. Ruined basements. Forest Hills municipal people were great. Responsive, aware, calming, managing and directing appropriately, it seemed to me.

This is my street, Kenmore Ave in Forest Hills, I grew up here. Wow, this never was so bad in the past 30 years.
