The economy went up because he spent citizens money that didn't even exist. debt change under Carter -3.3%, under Reagan's 2 terms + 11.3% and + 9.3%.partly because of cutting taxes for the richest 1% by 1/3, dont need to mention he set civil rights back 10 years, and started a never ending militarized drug war that cost us $32Bil per year while increasing the imprisoning of American citizens by 250%
